1. Tennessee RPI: 1
2. Stanford RPI: 3
3. Oregon State RPI: 2
4. Virginia Tech RPI: 5
5. Texas AM RPI: 20
6. Maryland RPI: 9
7. Texas RPI: 11
8. Miami RPI: 16
9. North Carolina RPI: 4
10. Oklahoma state RPI: 10
11. Louisville RPI: 18
12. East Carolina RPI: 15
13. Florida RPI: 12
14. Georgia Southern RPI: 7
15. Southern Miss RPI: 19
16. Auburn RPI: 14

Just for fun how do y'all see them ranking the host?
I think auburn or southern miss will end up as the 16 seed and not georgia southern just because of the RPI and the record. Georgia southern also finished off better than those two in conference tournament

What I used for ranking
RPI
Record
Quality Wins
How they ended the season
Conference Standings
Rank of Conference

Pairings
1. Tenn vs Auburn
2. Stan vs Southern Miss
3. Ore st vs Georgia Southern
4. VT vs Florida
5. Tx A&M vs ECU
6. MD vs louisville
7. Texas vs Ok st
8. Miami vs North Carolina

I think they want diversity at omaha which makes me believe they would pair auburn or florida with Ten, I think florida is too high on the rpi and better resume than auburn so I see it happening to auburn more than them.

Although don’t be shocked if the committee pairs A&M and Texans against each other. You know they live that shite.

Main thing I'm disappointed in about LSU not hosting is me not getting to start my annual "Be ready to lose in your regional team matched with LSU" thread.

10 out of the last 12 times.

I do think they will try to pair up at least 2 SEC schools for supers. Maybe not at 16 seed but stick Florida or auburn in to match up against atm. Seems like they do this somewhat regularly to avoid having 4+ sec teams in Omaha.

They won’t be able to avoid matching some acc, sec and big 12 teams against each other in supers

I was actually wondering if Jay was going to stick to that if we hosted this year.

LSU played at night in 2019. Not sure how Jay would handle it. Maybe Skip would call in from the old folks home and tell Jay the secret of the Friday afternoon 1/4 game.

That was the one time, and it was weird, have no idea why PM did that. Think he didnt want his pitcher pitching in the heat or something like that
