South Carolina is going to play themselves?
Anyway seems like a super random opponent for LSU.

One of Arkansas’ permanent opponent will be Texas and one of LSU’s will be Texas A&M

let's see everyone's entire league predictions not just one team one opponent comments

Texas and South Carolina are the two most random predictions I have seen yet. May as well say Ohio State and UCF, just as likely.

LSU
Ole Miss
A&M
Florida
I don't think it's Alabama because the SEC offices will want to give them an easier opponent for their 3rd permanent opponent.
Alabama will get Auburn, Tennessee and either Vandy/MSU/UK.

For 14 teams? Jesus, man, some of us have a life. SEC office pays Bill Gates or some other nerd to do that math.

Wow, nice job going 0-3.
Only one with a remote chance is Bama.
The thinking in some circles is that there will be 8 tier 1 teams and 8 tier 2 teams. And each tier 1 team will play two within that group, and one in tier 2. And the tier 2 teams will play two within that group and one from tier 1. Talking permanent opponents here.
Tier 1: LSU, Auburn, UGA, OU, Texas, a+m, Florida, Bama
Tier 2: everyone else
Examples:
LSU: Bama (T1), Florida (T1), Ole Miss (T2)
Bama: LSU (T1), Auburn (T1), Tennessee (T2)
Ole Miss: State (T2), LSU (T1), Vandy (T2)
UGA: Auburn, Florida, South Carolina

We know the SEC isn’t going to stick them with OU or Georgia.
Alabama-Miss St isn’t close to being considered a rivalry, but Alabama has played MSU more than any other school and the two campuses are within about 90 minutes of each other. I can almost guarantee MSU will be one of Alabama’s 3 permanent opponents, along with Tenn and Auburn.
At least they’ve beaten Bama more recently than Tennessee.

I can assure you if the SEC goes to this kind of schedule LSU will not have South Carolina as a permanent opponent

Seems fair and balanced. Most schools should support it.

No school is going to concede that they are “Tier 2”. Definitely not Tennessee.

LSU will get Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and probably Arkansas.
LSU MIGHT get UF but will NOT get Bama. Bama gets Tenn and Auburn and maybe Vandy.
I would prefer LSU get Vandy, Mizzou, and State! :-)
