1. Texas
2. Arkansas
3. North Carolina
4. Vanderbilt
5. LSU
6. Georgia
7. Oregon St
8. Auburn/Florida St

Both Auburn and Florida St lost their last series. I could see each playing their way into that last spot so to speak.

I think the other 7 are locked in.

I really don’t think Florida is even in the discussion.

They have been one of the hottest teams since they fired Lemonis. They were out when he was fired. They are a possible 2 seed if they win one or two at Hoover. I wouldn’t want them in our regional.

Agree that they would be a tough out

Vanderbilt has the same SEC wins, higher RPI, and more Q1 wins.

I doubt Oregon st gets one

NCAA will want a Western team in the top 8. Oregon or Oregon State fit that scenario.

Oregon could get a Top 8 before Oregon State. The committee chair said this week he puts a lot of value on head-to-head and a little less on raw RPI. As mentioned, Oregon is 4-0 versus Oregon State so that is going to matter.

We will not be 7/8 seed unless we get run ruled in SEC tourny….2-5 is where we will be.

What if we win the whole fricking thing?

I understand the logic of “The SEC tournament doesn’t matter” but I think if one of Georgia, Texas, LSU or Arkansas wins the tournament they will be the overall #1 seed

Don't sleep on Oregon. They have won a shitload of games. If they take the Big 10 tournament, and get improve their RPI a bit they could be in serious consideration. Oreg St is done and will be stagnant. SEC and ACC teams that play a few games will potentially push them down.

Agreed. Oregon is a dark horse and a serious contender.

Everyone seems to be out on Auburn. Leaving them off the train seems criminal. Just for the purpose of screwing the SEC? Their RPI is like 2. They swept LSU. Two series losses are on the road to Texas and UGA. Their resume crushes the non SEC teams. It really is nuts to leave them off especially with a win in their first game in Hoover.

SEC gets 5 top 8 seeds. Need to remember ESPN has those late night TV windows to fill west coast teams in. They will try everything to get an Oregon/Oregon St as a top 8
I'll throw a flier and say Vandy wins SECT over LSU. FSU wins ACC

1. Vandy
2. LSU
3. FSU
4. Texas
5. Arkansas
6. UNC
7. Oregon
8. Georgia
