LSU gonna get stuck with sorry arse OU
My 3 would be Arkansas, Ole Miss, Alabama.

LSU-Bama has been one of the most watched games every year. ESPN won’t let that go away.

LSU-Alabama is too big of a game ratings wise. ESPN won't let them give up that rivalry. The other two permanent opponents will be a combination of Arkansas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Ole Miss.

OU is pretty confident they have Texas, Mizzou and Arkansas, which is a cake walk.

I’d be shocked if LSU got the most favorable draw in the conference. Think people are wishcasting here

Ole Miss
Bama
A&M
If they can't make it work to give us Bama or A&M, then Florida rotates in. I think that's the reason they kept us playing Florida each of the last two seasons.

Any conversation about this has to be done with the final week of the season in mind. We are gonna get OU and like it. We have no nautural rival.

It's hard to see A&M and Arkansas not being 2 of the 3. The last team will be either Alabama, Ole Miss or Florida
I agree with that.. And I will give my prediction for Texas also. Someone said OU, A&M, and Missouri I think. The first two seem right for sure but I think Arkansas replaces Missouri as Texas' 3rd permanent opponent.

We aren’t getting Bama.
The SEC isn’t giving them us with Tennessee and Auburn. It’ll be Miss State instead

Gotta be Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Alabama
I'll miss the Florida game.
I'd bet they keep FL.
So TXAM, Ole Miss, FL is my guess.

Don't think we'll be able to fit in Arkansas' permanents.
Feels like they will get Texas, A&M, and Missouri.

3 annual opponents makes the last game of the season interesting A&M will play Texas to end the season. Arkansas probably would stick with Mizzou(an actual rival for them to end the season with so good for them) Our 3 perms are almost certainly between Ole Miss, A&M, and Bama/UF, and they all have rivals to end the season Probably keep Oklahoma the 2 years they're on the schedule. But what about the other 2. Legit have no clue
Kentucky / SCAR / Georgia / Florida have the annual ACC rival
Texas / TA&M - Bama / Auburn - Egg Bowl
Oklahoma should play bedlam
We should rotate Missouri and Arkansas

I wouldn't argue with the Bama exclusion but IMO it would be Ole Miss or Florida as the 3rd opponent...Arkansas and A&M should be shoe-ins for LSU. They are bordering states to LA and LSU has played Arkansas a bunch of times and LSU had that 10 year stretch of playing A&M every year even before A&M came to the SEC.

You are thinking in terms of 4 distinct quads. The announcement didn’t state that. Each of LSU’s permanent rivals will likely be different from ours.

ESPN isn't dropping one of their highest viewed games each year.

Maybe when Saban was around. Him bitching about it is one of the big reasons this didn't happen sooner because he knew he'd get Auburn, Tennessee, and LSU.
I would guess there's a chance Tennessee is going to get Georgia, Bama, and Florida every year. Auburn will at least get Bama and Georgia, etc.
I don't think "balanced" schedules will really come into play as much as people think. The best "Big Six" teams have been permanent opponents of one another for the last 30 years and no one else has won the league in any of those seasons. Yes, an expanded playoff is a thing now, but that should just be MORE of an excuse for the big networks to play those games in the regular season.
