On it's face it's not an unfair take. The problem now isn't that they hired him it's not realizing that they made a mistake, doubling down, and wasting next season.

I am the first to say the McHallman has been a failure in BR and should be replaced by the General.
BUT
I also remember people thinking CMM was a good hire at the time. The fact that he has been bad doesn't change that we felt fortunate at the time to outbid South Carolina for his services. With the looming sanctions, I remember CMM feeling like a win as a hire.
He most certainly hasn't had any success in BR and should be shown the door but that doesn't change history.

We made it to the sweet 16 his second year you ignorant frick. That team was so strong we managed to make it that far with fricking Beneford coaching them the entire last month. Who knows what we would’ve done had Wade been on the sideline. After his 1st year we never missed the tournament again except for the Covid year when it was completely canceled. Let’s face it, it’s obvious now that Wade was building us into a powerhouse and this current era of college sports with NIL and the portal was built for Wade to dominate. We committed the 2nd greatest frickup in LSU sports history by firing him.

Thanks for uploading that. This was my favorite moment and it makes me chuckle to watch that. WW got me to start watching our bball team and bball for the first time. I really enjoyed it. I miss that. Basketball was short and full of action so It was easy to get into.

The # of times LSU has made it out of the 2nd round since 1990 (35 years ago) - 3
Will Wade, in 4 years, accounts for 33% of the Sweet 16 appearances over a 35 year period.
Yet….. this Clown is upset that Will Wade only did it once in 4 years when it was only done twice in the other 31 years.
