Count me in. My biggest complaint last night was the horrible ESPN announcers and coverage. This was the first game and a long way from Baton Rouge. We won ugly. In Nov we will look back and realize just how good a win this was.

Put me on the list. The negativity from fans is fricking blowing my mind.

I'm in.
LSU played horrible, yet UW never touched the ball in the fourth quarter with a chance to even tie the game. For all of the hysteria, this game was never really in doubt. Vanilla offense scored 31 (ok, 24) points and moved the ball whenever it actually needed to.

I am in too. Sure there were things that concerned me (3rd down defense and containment of a mobile QB), but we won. Jefferson did just fine. PP was impressive and Tolliver could be on his way to a break out season.
Hopefully we will see some adjustments on the defense. I think the offense will open up more as the season progresses and as there is a need to do so. But it was a win and the team didn't fold even when things weren't going great.

Not sure if you fit the definition of positiger or not.
What do you fellow positigers think? Yea or nay on this Baloo?

I'm ,for sure. I was disappointed in the defense, but there were 'signs' or some positive adjustment. It did dry up some on that last score, though.
Still we won. What happened, happened. Hopefully we'll learn from it. Locker is a lot better QB than I thought he'd be. He's not as good as some we'll face in the SEC,so this should be a wake-up call. If we're going to get exposed,I'd rather do it in a win and also early.
I can't imagine why anyone would want to give up on the team after one game that was a win, albeit over a team that may be mediocre at best.

Hopefully I will still be in after the Vandy game.

I'd say yea. He makes some good points- the game was never really in doubt. LSU controlled the 2d half of the game pretty well.

What qualifies you as a PosiTiger?

I like to think I'm a positiger. GEAUX TIGERS! See?

What makes a positiger a positiger - at least, IMO - is that they are only disappointed in LSU when LSU actually loses.
while I agree with you in principle and think lots of people are being completely retarded this is just retarded. When you have exponentially more talent on your team and underachieve regularly (not that we have yet) and pull of a few ugly wins against far inferior talent, I feel you have every right to be upset. Would you really be ok with LSU beating say Charleston Southern by 7-10 points...your original post indicates that you would be.

We win when we bring our "C" game? I think thats a good sign. I'm not going to ignore that nothing went wrong, but I'm also happy with a road win with a ridiculously late start when we didn't play well. Also, it is important to note that there was never a moment in the second half when UW could even tie the game.
And Toliver is a badass.

Dude is scary on the skinny post. Too big for DBs to cover in the first 10, and too fast for safeties to pick up from a dead stop on the deep-ball in Cover 2.
