What a terrible throw

Somebody call the BYU defensive coordinator and tell him to stop showcasing the defensive game plan. Ugh!!

I've been thinking, "Why does Houston get all the good OOC LSU home games" well....this won't be a good game. This BYU team isn't playing with the same sexual frustration that their teams usually play with ??

WTF?? Wrapping up with work and hopped on here because I figured there would be a thread. What's the score? Did OP just start a thread and ditch?

BYUs Dline is soft as baby shite. Etling should have no more that 10-15 attempts.
Unless BYU offense snorts a kilo before the game, it shouldn't be close

I'd like to hear from some BYU fans.
Rarely do I agree with Trevor Matich but he hit the nail on the head. BYU has serious matchup issues against LSU's defense. Their QB looked good in spots.
LSU's secondary will play man, stuff the run with a loaded box, and bring extra bodies on obvious passing downs.
I could see the BYU defense putting up a fight but if their offense gets totally shutdown then they'll start to fade. Even their rah rah fans cited their depth issues.

I got the same feeling. Can't wait for Sunday morning to read all the posts from people bitching that O "lied" about having a 50/50 run pass ratio.

I kid you not...BYU fans already saying they will be in the TOP 25 next week...

yeah we should be able to run at will on them. stretch them out and make defend whole field. no need to throw much if run is working consistently.

If Etling has no more than 15 attempts, without any other QB playing, that would be a disservice to a group of wideouts and o-line that need the work in the passing game to get ready for October and November.

This is exactly right. LSU will take the run away by blowing up that OL, force them into 3rd and long, Aranda is going to eat their lunch. They have been working their tails off for a great opponent and they maybe but not what LSU is ready for. I see it getting out of hand quick. Our DL can literally rotate all day and still get a pass rush. We have the line backers to stop the run or pass. I see lots of TFL even on run plays.
Their defense is good but I see huge match up problems that PS just couldn't exploit. Our athletes are going to wear this team down in the first half. They can try to rotate but their rotation isn't like their starters, who aren't special. Good but nothing special. We have a HUGE speed advantage and if I see that then Canada sees this as well.
I said 31-10 but I actually think it's more like 49-6. Unless we just make mistake after mistake after mistake. I can't see it, Etling is ready and focused. This team is going to be ready to play some big boy football. Idk if BYU will be ready just yet. I really think they are expecting the same ole soft LSU team. This team isn't going to play soft. They will play fast and put immense pressure on BYU who doesn't have the depth to hang in. They just don't. Now if it was our old offense they would have a chance but not this offense. Good luck BYU, you're going to need it.

that is beacuse we won't be as predictable and we will use whole field spreading them out and IF we run any UPTEMPO their defense will be sucking wind early!
