Caldwell has essentially run the women's basketball program in the ground. She replaced Chatman who was probably responsible for the greatest run for any LSU sports program. I guess I never realized how impressive the streak was until I looked it up recently.

-4 seasons as head coach
-3 straight final four appearances (resigned before the NCAA tourney in her last season so she could have gone 4 for 4)
-undefeated SEC conference record in her first year as head coach.
-only one conference loss the next year
-106-19 overall record as head coach

Putting aside her personal shortfalls, has there ever been a more impressive stretch in LSU sports history?

Maybe Pokey is interested in the Men's job?

Won't have the same problems as last time.

Van Chancellor started the decline. pokey was a good coach.

Should have waited to frick her players. If she was a man she would have never worked again.

She was a good coach.

Maybe today's world it would not have been such a big deal.

Wasn't there always accusations about the TN coach as well?

Skip Bertman won back to back titles

I'd say LSU football from 2005-2007 is up there too.

Dale Brown too

She resigned amongst rumors she was fricking her players.
