She doesn't need to score the ball and does a better job running the offense. And she's hungry.

HVL plays better as 2. Let Poa stay 1.

Van Lith just seems like a square peg in a round hole.

You can’t over react off of one half of basketball. Poa played great in the second half today, and was a difference maker, but that has not been the case all season long.

I agree, sub her out for Williams and Johnson when they need a break.

Did she play better tonight (I couldn’t watch)? She looked flat out lost every time previously she was put in the game.

You are gonna need both. HVL should be the first one off the bench to spell one of the three guards. Right now this team plays better with Poa at the point.

Again, was she magical tonight? There have been multiple times this season Mulkey put her in and then pulled her after a possession or two because she was so clearly overmatched.

I've been complaining about HVL pretty much all year long.

It’s been the case the last 5-6 games. Also the square peg analogy was spot on. HVL cannot guard the 1. The other point guard always seems to have a career day against her. She is a spot up shooter not a dibble/drive player. Kim has waited for Poa to step up and it seems she is doing it.

100% correct.

This team is gonna win another title because of defense, and Poa's tenacity gives us our best chance as a team defense to beat those top teams come tournament time.

The best part is that both are unselfish and willing to do whatever it takes to win. HVL seemed gassed. Understandable after the performance she gave last game.

So who are you going to take off the court? I have been saying start Poa and bring Van Lith off the bench, her D-F IS Horrible, makes bad decisions with the ball. At one point in the game she tried to pass the ball while Angel Reese was standing 3 feet out of bounds. Angel just look at her and shook her head.

Very true. I don't see SC staying within 8-10 of this lineup if they keep up the tenacity and Reese stays out of foul trouble.

Regardless of who starts or not this is 100% a fact and what she adds defensively changes a lot

So what?

She is the best option for point guard on this team. Y’all can hate on her all you want, but I respect HVL for willingly changing positions for the betterment of the team. When she didn’t play much in the second half today she wasn’t on the bench sulking.

HVL has had here struggles this season, but she still is a key for LSU if they want to make a run to the Final Four and beyond.
