When they started getting paid they became professional athletes and not “kids”. They can dry up the tears and deal with it… as you can buttercup

Who TF is that player?
I personally don't trash players but to act like an internet forum called "The Rant" needs to be careful if like saying a baptist preacher needs to stop yelling. It's called the rant which happens when you vent out of frustration of said player fricking up.

We all know House made everyone regress so if said player is blaming us he's either blind, deaf, or dumb because it was the scheme and we knew it hence all of the defensive changes. Guess he needs to grow a pair and toughen up buttercup.

Some criticism is reasonable, but there is something inherently weird about unathletic grown men talking shite anonymously about college kids on the internet.

IMO, if a player is getting paid (NIL) - some hundreds of thousands, if not millions - $$$, then they’re at the same level as a professional player — who thousands bash everyday.

The only stars from last years team were

Daniels - inconsistent before exploding this year
Perkins - star from the beginning
Nabers - star from the beginning
BTJ - took a bit to come on, but not much bad said about him
Campbell - star from the beginning
Jones - star from the beginning

I have a feeling this is coming from a player that thought they were a star, but underperformed. No fanbase on planet earth is 100% going to say nice things about you no matter what. That's called a cult.

Players should keep in mind that some people on message boards don't have an athletic bone in their body and have never played sports, some are miserable fricks, some are 40 and live in their mom's basement, and some aren't even LSU fans. They are fans of other teams that have no life and come here to simply sow discord and create general anarchy among LSU fans. If you doubt me, just stop by any random SEC Rant thread. If you want to see what actual rational LSU fans are like having a discussion, stop by any gymnastics thread.

To any player that mat read this board: do not put too much stock into what anyone on here says, if they are a true LSU fan, their wish for LSU to succeed would outweigh any negative thoughts about any players.

I myself have been critical of players, bit I wouldn't say that I've been out of line. Take Major Burns for example, he has not had a good two years, but a lingering memory I have of him is chasing someone down to save a touchdown. He might have some missed assignments, (this past season, who didn't?) He might take bad angles sometimes (he would likely agree) but you can't knock his hustle. There really is no reason to celebrate after you tackle a WR for a 23 yard gain on 3rd down though.

I don't remember anyone saying anything bad about Wingo. He was our best DL for the last two years outside of maybe Ojulari last year

I will be accepting NIL kickbacks from players in exchange for not saying mean things about them.

He literally had zero scholarship players when he got here. Look at how they’ve looked tonight and all season in conference . It’s getting better

I can’t really believe this. Have we really become this soft as a society!

What ever happened to sticks and stones… words will never hurt me?

Are these kids really that fragile? It seems as if some of the things my kids gymnastics coach said to her when she was 10 years old would wreck these kids.
