A few years ago when Auburn was undefeated (can't remember exactly what year, although I know others will remember), anyway, when Auburn was undefeated under Tubby Tommerville, I worked with an ardent Bammer fan. I said to this Bammer fan that I hoped Auburn got a chance to play for the National Championship because they were SEC. He looked at me like I was crazy and said (I'll leave out the profuse profanity) that it would be a cold day in hell before he would ever pull for Auburn. I used to not feel this way, but I will never, ever x 6669496004493990606.0012 to the 10th power ever pull for Bama, Auburn, or Ole Miss in ANY game. It's America, still free, for now anyway.

If you cheer for Alabama under any circumstance, you weren't there year after year when they won in Tiger Stadium every year from 1969-200x, etc.

If you cheer for Florida under any circumstance, you weren't there for 58-3, etc.

If you cheer for Auburn under any circumstance, you weren't there when they smoked cigars on our field, etc.

I doubt Bama thinks their titles are community property and I'm pretty sure they consider their hardware theirs and theirs alone.
