No it’s not - some of these kids have 3 games left and they’re done.

Too late bro give it up

They have 3 games left with nothing really to play for

BK has officially lost the team.

When people say this, it sounds like someone who has never played a team sport in their life. A team could be undefeated for 10 games, lose 1 and players would hold a meeting like this. Sometimes you need your peers speaking up about what everyone is doing wrong, rather than your "boss" telling you what's wrong. As much as everyone places blame on the coach, which is understandable, you as a player on the team have to hold yourself accountable. And we all can see some players are just plain fricking up.

man I want to be there

That is literally a recruiters sales pitch clown. "Hey, you see our hole in this spot, that could be you to fix it". "Hey Bryce, you see our qb play right now? We think you could come in and fix it, and win the Heisman" You sale the dream big guy.

I mean, yeah…the season is over as far as CFP goes. I hate the CFP or bust mentality. Everything our team does between now and the Clemson opener matters. Many of these players are going to be key members of next year’s squad, like it or not. If they pack it in now, they’ll do the same next year and beyond. If they somehow manage to get their heads out and regain the want, they can finish 8-4. I’d rather blow out someone like Purdue in a bowl than lose. If there are still games to play, you may as well win.

So yeah, I guarantee teams that Saban coached had lots of versions of “players only meetings” over the years.

They always seemed to have leaders who held teammates accountable to the point that small issues were fixed before coaches had to step in. LSU had that too. You had better men who patrolled the locker room. You don’t seem to have dogs and grown arse men taking responsibility and being accountable. Feel like I haven’t heard anything from our first round tackle since he said he was ready for a fist fight.

You think all they needed was a motivational speech to beat bama?!?

Atm, okay maybe, but not bama. Our D was a wet paper bag.

8-4 is better than 6-6

And still have a bowl game, regardless if it’s flashy or not.

You’re wrong

Hopefully they talked about 18s inability to pass protect and catch crucial 3rd down passes

i didn't think we would beat Bama but that was a flat throat stomp of a game. LSU had the lead at halftime vs Aggy. Elko adjusted, BK did nothing and here we are. Losing to Florida is embarrassing. LSU is a joke in the college football world right now.

Yea, it's WAY TOO LATE.

Music City Bowl is on the line. Great time for this.

Was afraid we’d wait to do this until there was nothing left to play for. Glad to see our boys got it together while there’s still a lot on the line.

look, I want us to win every game.

But for a team that should have championship aspirations, there's not much difference between 8-4, 7-5, or 6-6. All are failures.

Agreed. Play for the name on the helmet! Play to win the remaining ones.
