Serves that short prick right to get humbled again by a real pitching coach in skip Johnson

Looks like Yeskie did a better job last year than the guru.

I still think Jay took over pitching in 23

Weird how they couldn’t hit outside their home park. Technology must be different.

I think the big ballpark + erratic winds screwed with their heads.
OU certainly isn’t bothered by wind that always blows up there.

There were a lot of Georgia Bulldogs "Crying" when the game became a final.

That game was THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE.

Jay snuffed him out. Mutual departure

It would be no different than a HC not liking the way things were looking on offense so he takes over the play calling duties.

It’s hard for a team that is homer oriented to win in Omaha even with the fence pulled in slightly and the friendly balls.
Florida almost did it but ran into the Jay Johnson machine

They won two games in Omaha, LSU didn’t even make the fricking tournament. It’s retarded to talk shite about Georgias baseball team this season on an LSU board.

I found it very ironic that OU an average power team absolutely mashed the ball against them last night. Poetic justice.
Also, underrated but Skip's decision to leave the pitcher Mercurius in after walking in 2 runs might've been the best decision of the game. Kudos to him for having confidence in his guy. He absolutely shoved to end the game. minus the HR in the 9th.

"Jay snuffed him out". Pretty evident, though I have no idea when Jay took over, but it was Jay walking out to the mound & talking to the pitcher. He usually only went out to change pitchers. Plus, there were several shots, especially in the playoffs, of Wes sitting alone in the dugout, not the usual place for a pitching coach during a game. Note that Yeskie was always sitting 1-2 steps from the field, basically sitting next to CJJ. on the dugout steps.
