Meh. They defended the run well after Connor went out and then wreaked havoc with a freshman backup QB. Both teams would lose large to a faster, more balanced run/pass SEC offense.

Northwestern gives up yards, but they clamp down when they need to. It's a good defense and the reason they only lost by 4 in Columbus.

Definitely, but so would almost anybody.

Maybe. We had some really good games under Ensminger.

Combine that with improved defense and we should be competing for championships!

I think our defense takes a step back next year. We will need the offense to pick up the slack.

The teams he plays against also have more talent. Too much trying to hurry up with all the shifts=frickups. Happened numerous times tonight. Play calling was pitiful. 24 points against the #59 defense. Execution is perfected in practice. You cant just draw up pretty plays and expect your players to just do it. They have to be coached. Whose job is that?Qb coaching was pitiful.Whose job was that?

Yep. So predictable that we would have a few like this in this thread.

When we don't put up 50 in the first game next fall, expect them by the hundreds.

That's your explanation for Pinestripe?

How much do you think canada or his offensive players really put into the pinstripe bowl knowing he's gone after that?

DaNucci just showed us what Brandon Harris would look like running Canada's offense ...

danucci is actually very accurate though and harris has not consistently shown he can be an accurate passer going into his senior season. i'm talking about 5-15 passes pitch and catch. the simple fundamental stuff that every good QB should have mastered.

So painful for him to miss passes of less than 10 yards. Even wide open, more often than not, the pass would be off

We were 69th in ppg this year. While it's certainly possible we don't exceed that, i wouldn't say it's a bad or good thing honestly. I'll wait to see what the games look like. If they are low scoring because it was more about TOP or whatever the reason the ppg stat wouldnt bother me that much. I am not a fan of having a wide open spread at lsu, personally. Obviously points win games, but sometimes its not all about the scoreboard (except the W obviously).

Ensminger did well as interim, except against good defenses (FA and Bama). I think Canada has a tougher road ahead than Ensminger (year one of new team and tougher schedule), but i would say in the tougher games we will be glad we have Canada over Ensminger.

I expect to see some type of power spread next year, and i think if he has the talent at most positions he won't necessarily have to run the more gimmicky plays he runs now. I think he realizes that won't work against the good SEC DBs/LBs too big and fast. All we need to be great is for him to do for our QBs what he did for his previous ones and modernize our offense a bit.

Hopefully he turns out to be a great OC. I was happy that he came here over any of the other options, personally.

Thank God. Glad to know you approve of the hire, on a personal level. I can go back to sleep now and rest peacefully.

Is this all you do? just troll threads i am in?

...and yes...please do go to bed.

P.S. when you find that binding contract Herman signed right after Les was fired can you scan it and send it over (since I'm not an insider like you). Would love to see what Tom Herman's getting paid to coach LSU next year.
