Article by Hunt Palmer. I know PFF sucks, but this is just a single data point. Use it if you want or don't idc. I did lose some respect for PFF after I listened to them this morning and one of the guys said that the biggest weakness of Nuss to a lot of people is his arm strength... I had to rewind it a few times to make sure I wasn't going crazy.

PFF grades LSU’s thrilling overtime win

HIGHEST GRADES

Zy Alexander, CB – 88.6
Whit Weeks, LB – 84.6
Will Campbell, LT – 76.1
Bradyn Swinson, DE – 70.8
Garrett Nussmeier, QB – 69.9

LOWEST GRADES

Sai’vion Jones, DE – 50.8
DJ Chester, C – 52
Miles Frazier, RG – 57.5
Caden Durham, RB – 58.2
Mason Taylor, TE – 58.8

Frazier gets bullied way too much. Chester is a new starter so hopefully he gets better with experience.

I guess Taylor was downgraded on some blocking on run plays, but the whole team had trouble run blocking.

He was clutch on keeping drives alive catching balls while being closely guarded.

A little surprised to see this. I need to go back and rewatch and to see what he got knocked down for.

He was getting knocked back 5-10 feet on pass plays.

But but, LSU doesn’t need transfers from FCS

Durham was a liability, didn’t look 100%

You’re 100% right but it’s been so odd that his deep ball has been nonexistent the whole season. That’s the one thing I thought we’d have if nothing else.

How can they watch any game and say that? He over throws deep balls by 4 or 5 yards. And he throws lasers in between tight coverage.

This is crazy. Are you sure they didn't say something like "he depends way too much on his arm strength"? That would make more sense.

i think we gave up on the run way too early. we went into the game with the attitude we couldn't have success running. We ran on SC so we could have run on OM but we didn't even run some of the plays we had success with against SC

miles frazier is a noticeable liability. his run blocking is really bad.

Chester may be better if he is moved to guard next year. In order for that to happen, we'd need Mbenga or someone to step up as C but I could see Chester improving if all he had to do is block.

I believe this played a role in some of Nuss’s decisions. While he never got sacked, I thought the inside pressure was pretty consistent.

Our receivers are not deep threats. Having said that he has missed a few times when open. We do not have an Alpha no meighbors or Chase or JJ

Our receivers did not get much separation on Saturday.

Nussmeier was a little late on a bunch of throws
