throw a flag on us in the SECCG.

I have been holding my breath every time he as done it.
It could have cost the Bama or Arkansas game. A&M and UAB probably not. The SECCG? It could. All it takes is a ref to have had enough.

He should find one of his teammates to celebrate with. Easy to do and more likely be overlooked by refs.

Saying all that. I cannot begin to imagine the emotion he is feeling and may have a hard time containing it myself. But he needs to try.

Contrats young man on outstanding playing. But remember you will be watched.

With that said, if he plays like that consistently — I could probably live with the emotion and occasional flag.

Except two unsportsmanlike penalties in a game gets you ejected … LSU loses yesterday without Perkins on the field. He needs to rein that in.

It’s a ridiculous rule but I agree.

If you absolutely dominate a game like that you should be able to let the other team know about it. It’s football

Because it’s going to happen and is preventable.

He’s 18 years old and has burst into the spotlight nationally. Let the guy play.

Tyrann Mathieu similarly burst into the national spotlight and did not handle it well. I’m confident the coaching staff we’ll help Perkins play with his emotions under control.
The bigger part of this issue is good sportsmanship…dominating your opponent does not mean you have to be a jerk and try to intimidate them by taunting. Let your play on the field dominate your opponent.

If he's coached right... he'll make the play and then just walk away.

He has been told multiple times by his coaches and teammates. He is just too amped up.

HP will welcome the flag, while the ref is announcing the penalty on live mic, you can hear HP calling the sack on the next QB drop back. That's how good he is but I frown on those stupid taunting calls, but they are the rules. Go back to the huddle with composure makes you look more of a dog

What a weird post this is. "My beatdown"? LOL I Asked for details and later agreed he should be careful while berating Foxy for her immature response to my question.

Whats your angle or are you just an alter for Foxy? even stranger.

For the record, the refs have NOT flagged the 'standing over someone' and MOST jawing that Ive seen in years. He just needs to backoff when the refs tell him to.

Your more likely to get flagged for standing over a player then for jawing.

It's been done many times. I've been waiting for the flag but have noticed the seemed to have relaxed on throwing them on touchdown celebration.

I believe it was against Auburn, Jones Emery kind of started to high step into the endzone, I was waiting for a flag.

He came back towards and stood over a guy at one point I know. Who knows what was said, but that’s a definite no no that we need to have the freshman address
he can talk shite all he wants. Can't stand over a player for sure. And don't touch anymore refs.

On the field the shite talk never stops. Refs would go insane trying to stop it.

Ironic post of the year. You're degree of out of touch cannot be quantified. Have you read back over your posts and the reactions?

I was the 60th downvote, Square.

Quick follow up question: how many times has Perkins been flagged for taunting so far this season?

Which is a shocker, to be honest. Much less has been flagged before.
