That wasn’t a taunting penalty. That was him defending himself and moving a ref out of the way. If someone was trying to eye gouge me then I would act a lot worse than he did. I thought he handled himself well in the heat of the moment. You Karen’s always find something to complain about.

Ok congrats man you won the village idiot award, there was some stiff competition late in this thread

As good as he is, he easily could have been flagged several times for taunting after a great play. Hope Kelly addresses this.
Shut up.
Nonsense.
He won’t get flagged. There is talking on every play.
What he is doing is politely highlighting to each opponent their lack of manhood on a per-play basis. “Punk-ass bitch” is not unsportsmanlike if true relative to the play on the field.

Backing it up with reasoning and facts too much for you? Just resort to calling someone an idiot with no basis. Yep. Sounds like a Karen to me.

Read the thread before you post moron. Your dumbass statement has already been addressed.

He definitely got away with several yesterday.
We certainly don’t need the penalty yards

copy that, agreed then
Fox is still a bitch.
Agree that Perkins needs to chill with the taunting. Agree more with Fox being a bitch. Dude was saying he hopes Daniels turns pro just because he had a bad game yesterday, yet he has been good enough to lead LSU to their first win against Bama in Tiger Stadium since 2010 and to the SEC Championship Game.

Didn’t get the reaction you were looking for when you said it the first time? Keep trying, maybe one of these times it will land

He walked back and straddled one guy while flexing. Not the first time he's done it. That may bite him at one point.

It was an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and it cost LSU a defensive stop on 3rd down against Ole Miss. Mistakes like that can lose ballgames. Whether or not you think it was justified is irrelevant. The fact is, he pushed a referee on that play and there's no good reason to do that. That will get called everytime and justifiably so. The point of this thread is simply that Perkins needs to be careful with his behavior.

Let Perkins play with that emotion. I think it drives him.
He had to be pulled back after a play. Emotions get the better of people sometimes and is understandable. As long it doesn't become a habit hurting the team, I'm OK with it. Nobody is a saint dude and expecting that from a football player...well, I hope your life is as clean.

I saw the same thing. He needs to stop that nonsense. He'll eventually get flagged at a terrible time that hurts the team.
No need for him to taunt - he's a dominant player.
Let your play do the talking.

He’s 18 years old and has burst into the spotlight nationally. Let the guy play.
re: Perkins tauntingPosted by mcspufftiger7 on 11/13/22 at 8:55 am to geauxdroddz
Yes they will flag him for standing "over his prey". It is not needed and would have ruined a great play if they did throw the flag. He's too good to have to do that.

Those kinds of things can be game-changers.
Playing with emotion is fine, but any athlete (or any person, in general) has to have control over those emotions. Bad things happen otherwise.
