What makes you want someone who had no reason to leave OK?

Yep. And Olivia Culpo’s choices for who she’s sleeping with tonight are down to me and Christian McCaffrey.

So, you're saying you got a chance....................???

wow, the P&G goggles are especially strong on you.

I'd take Caleb Williams in a heartbeat. He's going to be one of the best QBs in the country next year, and he was a true freshman last year, so we'd have him for two years.

Don't let your love for Tiger players blind you to reality.

Brennan had some things he needed to work on in '20, sure, but everyone needs to remember he was one of the top QB's in the SEC, maybe the country, in passing yards and TD's before he got hurt.

He's no scrub. That situation in '20 with all of the change, plus trying to follow Burrow, was a mess for everyone. I think with stability (and hopefully a solid offensive line) he's going to finally show us what he's really capable of.

I would be disappointed if he chose us. Just feel like MB has paid his dues. I know as a coach you cant tell CW you dont want him but I would think BK gave MB some sort of guarantee for him to come back. I might be being soft but I want MB to have every chance to shine.

I think we have our quarterbacks, boys. Sure, we can pick up a decent player not of Caleb William's caliber in the portal to provide depth, but I think we are going to dance with who we brought to the prom. We have three guys who can compete and win right now. Plus, we have a coach now who is building a program, can assess talent and who knows his shite. So, in my humble opinion, this is just news filler/clutter.

some years our qb's had struggles were also years our WR's couldn't catch omicron in a jar.

Also, Burrow made our o-line look better than it actually was. Brennan didn't have that scramble instinct, and when he did he put himself in bad positions to get creamed, hence the Mizzou game.

I don't understand it. They really said no thanks we got Brennan for 1 year. Brennan also has had injury issues.

I guess one issue is would Howard be willing to wait 2 years? However, I think you get as much talent for the now and figure that out down the road, no?

This is so correct. Why the hell would we not want him? Dude is a stud and would be our stud. Would be an amazing offensive unit. We should be all in

It may or may not be true, but Dean Blevins is literally the worst source of OU intel in the entire OKC area. I’d trust any one of the idiots on here who claim to have a source before I’d trust Dean.

Are you kidding? What makes you say that?

Guy is practically joined at the hip with OU football. He may not report all he knows, but he seems to know a damn lot.

"It's down to USC and LSU" is not exactly an earth-shaking scoop. Players talk. Assistant coaches talk.
I'm sure Blevins wouldn't find it hard to find a player or an assistant who had talked with Caleb Williams.

I'm all for upgrading at any position we can. I like Myles as much as anyone. But we've got to be continually looking to upgrade.

There is zero chance Caleb Williams and Myles Brennan will be on the same roster.

Myles is coming back because he knows he’s the starter unless he gets hurt or completely shits the bed

Williams isn’t going to a school where he will have strong competition to be the starter.
