Fournette is being managed quite nicely if you look at it objectively.
He's getting enough to keep in front of the Heisman race but getting plenty of rest too. Ben Love can suck a fat D

I think rotating them in and out over three quarters would be great, then hand the 4th quarter to Fournett once the opposing D is exhausted.

Yep let him start and play the first couple of series of the game to get his feet wet, then let him rotate a bit in the 3rd QT and let him go full blast in the 4th.

I really hate shite like this. He's a running back... What do people want? Take your all American/heisman running back and give him the ball 10 time a game and sit him just so he doesn't get hurt?
The chubb injury could have happened on his first carry just as easily as his 35th. Let the kid carry the ball and play football. Jesus.

My camp has issues with poor water pressure and field mice.
Posted on 10/16/15 at 11:13 am to MightyYat
I have to believe that his camp is smarter than letting Chubb's injury sway them like that. I am pretty sure they know football is dangerous and that LF7's career is riding on that not happening to him. This seems like BS made up by someone who wants to be seen as having inside scoop.
In other words, frick this report, it's bullshite

26 touches per game for 14 games just gets you into the top 50 all-time for most used in a season. These numbers also don't include bowl games for the older guys or kick returns. I see a few NFL Hall-of-Famers in this list.

I think we'll see more of a rotation if Guice continues to impress.

What's been Fournette's average # of carries this season? For his career?

Not buying this at all.

Season 124 plays in 5 games or 24.8 per game.
Career 318 plays in 18 games or 17.7 per game.
Including 24 KO returns last year, 342 touches in 18 games or exactly 19 per game.
Posted on 10/16/15 at 11:28 am to MightyYat
he's carried 30 times a game maybe once in his career...
Posted on 10/16/15 at 11:29 am to MightyYat
Has Fournette had 30 carries in a game yet??
Posted on 10/16/15 at 11:31 am to MightyYat
I know that this will be an on going conversation especially next year. It will put les in an impossible position that he will not get right.

I hate hearing that players have a "camp" or "people" other than their families at this point.
Posted on 10/16/15 at 12:11 pm to MightyYat
They have good reason to care IMO. Throw the ball more.
Posted on 10/16/15 at 12:15 pm to bwallcubfan
His family just wants to bring a championship to BR, the Heisman is just cherries on top for them.

Right, because the media can't just keep talking about how good he is and expect to keep viewers and readers tuned in. They have to pull shite out of thin air and essentially put words in Fournette's mouth - mind you, with absolutely no repercussions. The fascination the media has with building up and then proceeding to tear down idols is particularly disturbing as well.
