How can a writer be so blind and not realize the decline. We just beat a crappy TAMU team.

frick you.

you're not...you're a crude, loudmouthed buffoon who followed a college football team because they were winning...you don't even know what a fan is...

I really hate and despise your ilk who has destroyed 'old tyme' college football with your ESPN worshiping, gotta be in the playoffs every year, coach hating, playing attacking, Hawthorne complaining about, Wal-mart LSU hat wearing, miserable selves..

The ignorant masses always win, at least you have victory in your sights

No matter who Bama puts in at quarterback every year they will be better than whoever LSU has at QB. Why the frick is that?

Because Saban is smart enough to bring in QB's that can throw the ball, read defenses and process information quickly enough to get the job done.

He has real QB's playing the position, not "Athletes" masquerading as QB's playing the position. Big difference!.................

These were the same people claiming that people were Les Miles fans not LSU fans and yelling "It's about the team not the coach!"

Now look at them...bailing on the team.

And 20 years ago no one was spending the level of money they are now as the price of being a fan. Throw in the tailgating or travel expenses, there are quite a few "average fans" putting in $5-10k a year. Suite and club seat holders spend more. Don't even bring up donations. Sorry, but 8-4/9-3 seasons won't cut it.

There was no Cholly Mac mistake. We hired a good coach to replace him. He died in a plane crash. How the hell do you foresee that happening?

The people who aren't the real fans are the Miles cult of personality. They're satisfied to watch the state of the program stagnate just as long as they have their guy.

Go peddle your crappy books.

Chris Warner

Your soaring rhetoric and holier than thou attitude about everything past greater than present is just more opinionated drivel by you and is the reason no one reads your shitty columns anymore and they aren't posted on Tigerdroppings.

Get over yourself, Miles current trajectory is as a program killer, and unless he is FORCED to change by a strong AD, look for LSU to become a non factor in the playoffs and NC. We will be the next Texas or whoever, with 'nice' 9' seasons, just like Alleva said. Miles best days are behind him, and the only way we get better is a NEW OFFENSIVE PHILOSOPHY with either a new OC or new approach to the game and Milesmshould be forced kicking and screaming to make the change.

The fact that most of you live this every single day and still don't get it amazes me.

LSU is in the SEC West. The toughest division in the toughest conference in all of college football. These coaches have a more high pressure job than any of you can imagine. You can't even stop to take a breath, otherwise you'll get passed up by 6 other teams more than willing and eager to take your spot.

In all fairness. Harris has been a better qb than Coker l.

What sentimental tripe.

P.S. LSU won more SEC championships in the decade following MClendon's firing than in the decade preceding it.

What does that have to do with whether you can be a fan of both Les Miles and LSU? I think that if there isn't a significant uptick in wins next year, Miles will be done. I expect him to retire in the next 3 years (no sources, just a hunch) anyway. The athletic department needs to have a plan on how to handle that situation, if we lose 3 or more next year, better than they did this year.

But I'll still be a fan of Les Miles because he seems to be a great human being, because he seems to love LSU, and because LSU has had a great run with him as the coach.

I've usually been a fan of most LSU coaches with 2 exceptions.

One was Saban at the point of hire because I was afraid he would leave LSU in the same manor he left MSU. I became a fan because he was a good coach and did not fault have m for wanting to try the next level, even if I saw similarities in his departure from LSU. His return to Alabama and demeanor since then has soured me again. That would probably change if he became the LSU coach again, don't see that happening.

The other was Hallman, who I was hopeful about, primarily because of the fact that he had such a great offense at Southern Miss and developed a great QB. Turned out I had that one wrong (I make lots of mistakes) so by the end of his tenure, I was not a fan.

I've been a defender of the coaching staff for years. I'm sick of it honestly. I'll watch but I'll be damned if I let the undisciplined play and shite offense bother me anymore. We are Georgia. frick you for telling me I'm not a real fan.

It baffles me how some fans think winning in the SEC West is so easy. This crappy aTm team beat the AR Kansas team that kicked our butt two weeks ago. While we need to spread it out more on offense and I think we will next year and as we continued to try this year, We just beat a team with ALOT of NFL talent and the best defensive player in the NCAA. Harris will be more mature and stronger next year. I have faith and think next year is the year. Our special teams yesterday minus the last punt and missed field goals was FANTASTIC. The defense was almost perfect. Offense will amaze everyone next year. I am excited and remain an LSU Fan for life!

Arkansas, Alabama and Ole Miss lose alot of players. We have all our stars returning. 2016 is the year! NO mediocrity.
