he’s got the yips.
he was always afraid to run. and now he’s afraid to even stand in the pocket, plant, and deliver.

Nuss Yips + bad OL development + bad OC play calling = our current state of: harmless, useless, ineffective, impotent, futile, pointless, worthless, weak, powerless, trivial, insignificant, inept, incapable, feeble, unproductive, vain, inconsequential, inadequate, defective, hollow Offense

He’s either hurt or playing to not make mistakes. Possibly both.

There have been MULTIPLE times this year when he has thrown absolute rockets to receivers running over the middle. If he was hurt, like you want to believe, then there's no way he would have been able to fire off those kinds of throws.

Last year he made bad decisions but his throws had way more zip

This year he is making bad decisions and he is putting his entire body into throws for them to only go 40 yards

He is hurt. Does that mean it's the only reason he's struggling right now? No. But is he hurt? Yes. Without fricking question.

Not even a little... this is who he is..average. the history books will lump him in with the Zach Mettenbergers and Danny Etlings of tiger history

I would probably phrase it a bit differently, but sure.

Hurt or not, Nuss should not start against SC. BK should declare that he has an internal injury, and LSU wants to be careful with getting him completely healed. Nuss has to sit against SC. If the offense isn't any better, and I don't personally think it will be with the backup, Nuss can then come back for the remaining games. But, it will be revealed if it is the offense or the QB that is holding back this offense. Then a decision can be made about Nuss' future at LSU. I like the kid, and I personally think his arm strength has been compromised.
It will be a good move for Nuss and give him a fresh start down the schedule after a bye week and SC game. I hope this happens for Nuss' sake and LSU' future.

He's 100% hurt. He loaded up as much as he could yesterday and barely threw it 30 yards. Watch the game before commenting

Watching the game won't matter. Some of these doofs on here have no idea what they are looking at.

Nuss is not hurt. Never was.

Anyone buying this is just a naive sunshine pumper.

So you think he just lost arm strength over the offseason?

I am buying the idea that Nuss' 4MM NIL deal stated he could not get pulled no matter what...
No other excuse for leaving his overpaid arse in that game to lose it. Which he did.

The one where he zipped it to Anderson, I think, at the goal line in the Florida game. That was like a 30-yard pass with absolute ease and it made it there pretty fast.

He’s just bad. You have to bench him soon. If not and he don’t turn it around we are done!! Getting engaged before the season didn’t help either.

If he isn’t hurt that’s terrible news for Nuss. It’s Rick Ankiel meltdown territory. He better get a sport’s psychologist very quick

if he isn't hurt, and I believe his is, his future is non existent in football. I hope he is and sits the next two weeks. He needs time off to reassess his game and hopefully heal an injury.

So your position is that he has gotten weaker? Something seems wrong physically. No?

He hasnt gotten weaker though? I dont know where everyone keeps seeing that. He just cant throw a deep ball. He has alway under thrown the deep ball. He did it all of last season.

He had a ton of zip on passes over the middle tonight. Go back to the drive where PJ woodland gets the int and Nuss' poor arse Offense settles for a field goal and wait for the announcers to say, "that was his best throw of the night." On that throw he threw a rocket between two defenders to Barion Brown. Then go to the final drive and watch him throw a 25 yard rocket to Nick Anderson over the middle. He isnt hurt. He just sucks. When he throws over the middle he steps into his throws and he has a lot of pace on the ball. When he throws deep he throws off his back foot every time and he under throws the football. This isnt new. He did it ALL year last year. He cant throw a deep ball down the sideline.
