So what staff management from last night caused lsu to lose?

My comment wasn't in relation to last night, specifically.

I didn't watch the game because February baseball doesn't do it for me.

March baseball does.

I would definitely look at Texas Tech and TCU coaches.

You think Tadlock will leave the success he has at his alma mater?

Jim Schlossnagle has it made at TCU as well

What people don’t understand is there are plenty of really good coaching jobs out there, you can make a name for yourself & have success without having to coach at LSU

LSU isn’t there best thing in the world of baseball anymore, times have changed & there are a lot of really good programs out there

He's also been vastly less successful than Mainieri in recent years.

ETA: In a weaker conference, with more built in recruiting advantages.

Are you defending CPM? Wow. Hey dude Woodward won’t stand for this losing mid week games to inferior in state opponents. CPM better change his ways otherwise he could be canned mid season

Woodward won’t give a crap about midweek games if we keep winning the SEC and giving ourselves a chance to make runs at the CWS.

It’s amazing how many people on this board work in Woodward’s office & know how he plans to handle coaches

It would blow their minds to know that woodward called PM for advice on hiring coaches when he was at Washington. If anything, he looks up to Mainieri

So you disagree that he has tried to change and adapt as the game has changed?

Just some simple thoughts I would like to SHOUT
1. quit referring back to 2009 THAT is the PAST
2. get off PM! He is the coach... deal with it
3. sick of hal bashing
4. let the kids prove themselves! quit calling them a GOAT one moment then the next game bashing them bc of one performance.
5. either support LSU with what we got this year or move on

It’s a crime that we haven’t won a title since 2009 with the talent that’s rolled through LSU.

And, yet, over that time span, teams with as much talent and arguably more talent than LSU in Vandy and UF have only done slightly better than LSU on the national and basically equal on the conference stage.

Fire them all!

Paul is Les Miles, the sequel. Just like Les, he is resting on his laurels after winning a championship. Paul is old, stale and washed-up just like Miles was. What a change to the football program when we replaced Les. Baseball needs the same change to a younger, more energetic coach who can better relate to the players.

I know it's early and we can beat the midweek games to death that are meaningless but LSU is not on Vandy's level right now. They are chasing the top of the SEC right now.
I will never argue with PM's resume but the message he conveys these last few years has been awful and it's almost like his team feeds off his negativity.
Honestly, I think it's recruiting more than anything.
LSU is stuck with a walk on lefty to complete the 35 man roster. That should never happen.
What happened to Cannizaro that was so bad to black ball him from college baseball? Someone could have hired him as an assistant to get him back in good graces. It happens all the time in basketball and football.
I look in the dugout and all I see is clueless looks on the coaches sometimes.

He misappropriated athletic department resources. He carried on a relationship with a subordinate. He lied to his boss when given a chance to come clean.

Also, he recruited the rosters with the holes people here have been complaining about for a few years now. His recruiting classes didn't exactly pan out worth a shite.
