Hopefully CPM retires.

That would be ideal. He’s a good guy. He’s won a lot of games here. You can’t deny that about him.

Based on the season so far, where are the 10 SEC wins coming from?

What would a “farewell” season do to recruiting?

Rip the bandaid off & retire after this season.

A&M, Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky aren’t very good. I don’t think 10 wins is too much to ask from this team. Even after a 1-5 start.

My wish is he retired after this season for health reasons.

ETA: not wanting him to get sick. Just use that for an excuse to retire gracefully

Why does he need “health reasons”.
He can retire gracefully just by retiring without any BS reason.

According to Chris Reid, you’re incorrect

You were expecting him to blast his coach to a bunch of strangers?

His father and father figure, Tommy Lasorda passing away

This is bullshite. My dad passed away; it was a drag. I miss him from time to time. I didn’t suddenly get overwhelmed with ennui. And Tommy Lasorda? Give me a break!

I think I heard 16 'free passes' were given this weekend by our pitchers. And our fans are mad at Paul Mainieri? Two walks are on him in my opinion for leaving Hill in too long. That's it.

Who do you think recruits the pitchers and trains them? The coaches.

Covid saved his arse. If not this likely would have been his second bad team in a row

Yep that was at best a 12-13 win SEC team last year. This team is better, but starting at 1-8, 12-18 might be the best case now.

Well, if you think a former player would blast his coach on a public forum I guess you are the clown that you claim to be.

Chris never said one way or another. He just said he respects PM even after all he did. Water under the bridge. He didn’t expound on other players’ feelings.

Right, they’re all just secretly telling everyone behind closed doors how much they hate their former coach

We have one actual former player on record and then we have your opinion based on nothing. I’m going to go with the former player on this one.

Plenty of them aren’t very secretive about their issues with Paul.

It’s common for people to jet a long term employee quit instead of hiring them. They frequently provide cover as not to embarrass the man, But the idea is got him to quit fir whatever reason.

Him hanging on to see this class through is similar to Les hoping the Fournette class could save his legacy

He’s the last thing that brought any improvement or excitement to this team. And he’s proven he can coach and recruit.
