That’s not how MLB draft works. Players with signability issues fall and sometimes fall hard.
Bregman was a too 5 to 10 round talent coming out of high school even tho he was injured his senior year. He said if he didn’t go in the first round he was going to LSU so once he didn’t get drafted in the first he fell because teams thought he wouldn’t sign. He fell to the 29th round.
