Yes, in 2019.

I think he should get in regardless. I may be a little biased.

The only people with a higher PFR HOF metric are already in the Hall

There isn’t a backlog of modern DBs waiting to get in either. His only realistic competition will be Richard Sherman and he’s by far the better cover corner

Probably won’t be first ballot but he’s getting in eventually

Mo claiborne was a more dominant corner at lsu who didnt get sliced and diced by penn st. Matheiu was a better playmaker corner

Peterson has legit claim to CB2, thus putting him close to goat status

This is a tribute thread to a great Tiger that is retiring.

No, he wasn't.

We're holding the Penn State game against guys now? Do you know how hard it is to play DB in a mud pit?

Tyrann is my favorite player ever. He wasn't (primarily) a boundary CB. If Pat Pete played in the slot 75% of the time and was allowed to blitz, he would have won the heisman. He was a better return man,

Peterson led the conference in kick return average, punt return average and total yards, and punt return touchdowns.

WTF?!? Dude was amazing at LSU. How can one watch the UNC game or the Mississippi State game with his two unbelievable INTs and have this take. Maybe not GOAT but damn close.

IMO, Peterson’s greatest accolade in life was vouching for TM7 and convincing the Cardinals management to draft him. PP allowed TM to live with him and his family. Peterson mentored and supported Matthieu like a big brother. His unselfishness likely saved TM’s life and football career. It’s not always about what you do on the field. It’s about how many peoples lives you effect by being a great person and human being PP7

I can't believe someone actually believes this!

Apparently never he saw him play in Tiger Stadium or has memory loss

This is one of the worst takes I’ve ever seen. He almost won the fricking heisman and is probably the best corner back to play at LSU this century.

He’s absolutely in the GOAT discussion at LSU

Did I just fall for a troll?

he’s the best pure CB that’s ever played for LSU.

yep, you nailed that 100%, you stupid son of a bitch. That’s 100% why we started giving out the number 7, Because Patrick Peterson was just another player while at LSU
