We need a hitting, head coach , and a pitching coach. We could hire Godwin as head coach, then use him also as the hitting coach, then hire a very good pitching coach

IF this is true it will be more about Woodward getting the big name guy than getting the right guy. Woody needs to put his ego aside and get the best guy. Casey ain’t it

The court records were sealed. That doesn’t mean rumors weren’t all over the ball fields.
I mean it’s common knowledge around ball fields whose mom is fricking around on their husband and which dads are alcoholics. Everyone would’ve known what Luke was accused of.
Just because those rumors were old news 3 years later when he enrolled doesn’t mean they weren’t bouncing around every ball park Luke played in.
Like I said even Luke said that he was under the understanding that the coaching staff knew of the charges even though he never had a full discussion with them about the charges. That says right there that he dealt with these rumors long enough that he just assumed everyone knew.

No one knew. This has been documented. There was a clerical error by the local PD, and they didn't notify the university until long after he was enrolled.

No. No one had official documentation of what happened. That doesn’t mean that no one knew. Luke thought Casey knew. I can absolutely guarantee that damn near everyone he ever played with or against in youth baseball knew as well as their parents.
To think that Casey didn’t also catch wind is you being willfully naive.

I hate the guy because even when he knew beyond a shadow of a doubt in 2018 he still rode the guy all the way to a national championship. I would rather lose every game than have filth like that around the program.
I said it then and I’m not going to change my tune now just because he might could win a couple of games here.

from what i recall and i could be wrong, the player had to update his change of address or similar form in 2017 and that's how this started.

Tell us everything you know about the case. Tell us about the custody battle. Tell us the OSU brass’ stance on the kid and why they let him play.
