Parking Question for Out of Towner

I'm an out of state alumnus, coming in for Bama game, but haven't been home for a game in quite a few years. I'm staying in the College Drive area with one of the hotels there. When I asked about shuttle service to game, the hotel offered me a phone number of a limo service. I doubt that will work from what I remember about after game getting back to hotel. Any suggestions on getting to/from campus in light of limited parking for one game visitor? I will have a car. Thanks for the feedback.

They have some free lots. What time are you trying to get to campus?

Was hoping to get to campus around 1pm or so, ideally.

I came in from college street to last week's game and parked in the levee lot. You might want to get there earlier for this game. Anyway I had no issues FWIW.

Try 7:00 - 8:00 AM for a free spot.

Any shuttle busses going to/from hotels in College drive area that anyone knows about?

Uber to the stadium and walk back to your hotel after the game. You'll get back faster than driving.

Hey, I work at a hotel in the college drive area. I have a few phone numbrs and info.
Red Bus 225-505-5824 picks up and drops off at Tiger STadium. They pick up in Lot 104 or the Chevron on Nicolson. $10 per person each way.
Also JPS Exective Car Service- Call text 225-572-8769 or 225-485-1392 Its $25 person round trip.
Hope this Helps!

Around fraternity houses, U-High, U-Rec. There's always parking

Area anywhere near the parade grounds will be packed well before then due to the veterans salute.

Park in the Ag lot. Easy exit.

Thanks. I really appreciate the help.

What time do you think one could reasonably expect to find parking available in that lot? That was my initial intuition.

Dude, I was out there earlier than that for OM and everything on east side of Nicholson was already full. You may want to rethink your arrival time. Biggest game of the year, by far.

UBER is your only option that late

Just get some friends to set up some chairs in an empty spot to save it for you.

What in the hell are you going to be doing until 1 that would prevent you from getting there earlier? Arriving at 1 for this game, especially if you haven't been in a while, seems crazy. Get your arse there the second your eyes open Saturday morning.
