Let me offer a suggestion, park your car Friday evening over in the cow palace area, take your friends to the chimes for dinner and Uber back to your hotel, Uber back to campus Saturday
make sure your friends have jerseys/shirts clearly identifying them as non-SEC types and just start walking around campus...depending on your ages, Touchdown Village would be a good place to visit...

In all seriousness, you won't find anything that late.
Other than probably half a mile down river road

All in the over 50 crowd. Thanks. Is Touchdown Village where old Alex Box used to be?

Free parking off Aster across from new band hall, but it will be full by that time. Bonus is that it's quick to get iff campus. They open the gate on Roosevelt & you can get on Highland there. We were home between 1:00 and 1:30 after Ole Miss.

Google LSU football parking map. It will show you where Touchdown Village is.

I would suggest paying to park north of campus off of Highland road. The link above shows you a route you can take to get back to College Dr. If you park at the High School they offer a shuttle to and from the stadium.

Man seriously...you are going to plan to get out there at 1 and end up not being settled in until 4 by the time you find a place. Unless you have a reserved parking pass you are planning to arrive way too late. You are doing the people you are bringing an injustice. Arrive early, take them walk around. Find a nice spot. Take in the entire day.

When I was growing up, we used to park on the band practice field/rugby pitch. My family could typically park there just an hour or so before kick-off. We only had to park on the nearby side streets for really big games.
Now they hardly let anyone park there.

Lol, no. This year I haven't been able to get to campus until after my son's nap. Typically no earlier than 1-2 pm. I can park and be at my friend's tailgate in 15 min. There are tons of places to park for $10-20 on the north end of campus. My favorite spot is University Terrace Elementary as they have a nice gated in area to park. You also are helping the school and not the Section 8 apt people down the street charging for parking in abandoned lots.

No, Where the old front nine of the golf course used to be. Starts at the South Gates on Highland and runs all the way to Nicholson

Thanks to all. You have convinced me that with the expansion of the stadium and since this is such a big game that my original plan of 1pm arrival is ridiculous. I have located TD Village on map and remember this being front 9 of golf course where I used to walk 9 after class in the early 80's. Will be fun to walk with guests from North Carolina and Pennsylvania in tow. Hopefully we'll get invited in a tailgate or two. Would love to have them enjoy some jambalaya, etc. I think we'll simply come in the morning, park at Ag Center and enjoy the day. Maybe I'll run into some of you there. Geaux Tigers.

Do you think 10AM is early enough to get free parking in that area?
Posted on 10/28/16 at 10:53 am to Tarheel Tiger
Very wise decision. If you tell people your story you should have no problems finding a tailgate with your friends in tow.

With Bama being such a huge game, I hate to say yes. I think you'd be OK, but would definitely have a plan B. We got there @ 8:30 for Ole Miss and there were only a few cars. Very easy to find your car afterwards, just walk towards Kirby Smith. There is also a strip of grass to tailgate in that lot. I'd get there a little earlier, walk to Louie's for breakfast & hang out. Wouldn't be surprised to see Game Day broadcast from Baton Rouge.

Yeah, they've really reduced the number of spaces. They won't let anyone park on the band practice field anymore, but you can park on the other side of that street & near Kirby Smith. Seems like they also allowed street parking right there a couple of years ago for Bama game only.

Tarheel Tiger, email me @ mussmule61@gmail.com if you want to use our pass for TAF tailgate. Starts in the PMAC a few hours before the game; free beer, cokes & Golden Band performs after they walk down the hill. You only need one card for your entire group.

I got to the levee lot around 4pm for the Ole Miss game and there was PLENTY of parking left.

Wow, will do. Thanks for your generosity.
Posted on 10/28/16 at 8:51 pm to Tarheel Tiger
your last plan is a much better one...no point is spending the whole damn day trying to find a place to park without getting towed. if nothing else, get there early and hit the chimes or walkons for some lunch and then cruise around the tailgates for a few hours until the team comes down the hill.
