The internet has been abuzz that Zavion could be heading back home to Louisiana to play for LSU after the Tigers snubbed the wide receiver during his high school recruitment. Zavion was a four-star recruit and the No. 17 player in the state according to 247Sports as he starred for John Ehret High School.

Ok, I get the “Star” system isn’t perfect but how does a 4Star, 17th ranked player in LA, only get two P5 offers?
We’re there grade issues?
Just asking.

Thomas had 15 returns for a total of 202 yards.

LSU...as a team...had 10 returns for a TOTAL of 40 yards...to go along with at least 4 muffed punts.

he's not very big, not Trindon Holiday small though. I'm not sure about him as a WR but he's definitely an upgrade at returner. Should provide some depth at WR with the ability to break a long one

I know we're excited for his return abilities but this kid is just electric with the ball in his hand sin general. He could kill teams on screen plays if he gets past a tackle or two.

He had a TD on HALF his receptions his senior season. Averaged nearly 28 yards per CATCH.

Thanks.
Small guy. I watched Kansas States small guy be an absolute “Pain” to every opponent.
We need a “Pain”.

Return man and a guy you try to get the ball to 1-2 times on offense, maybe end arounds or bubble screens.

LSU should ALWAYS have a Trindon Holliday type/style player on the roster.

So we left a small player with lots of production off the table? I'm not a recruit follower, was O's selection team looking for 6ft and bigger? I guess the plan was hurl it and try to make a play versus actual strategy of pass placement.

The Dude is 5-11 and 190lb... Taller than me and bulked up to almost 200lbs. And we didn't even give him a glance? So we had 16 other Taller, more highly ranked players that we targeted over this guy originally?

LSU has talent on special teams, it's 100% coaching.

Look at how much Notre Dame improved special teams the moment Polian left with basically same players. They go from ranking very poorly to #1.
