This was a set up game from the beginning. NCAA wanted to give OS a chance for revenge and possible embarrassment. Both seem to be working.

If I’m Mainieri I’m making Hess throw 200 pitches in this one. It’s our only chance to get out of the weekend. bullshite that he’ll pitch like this and then leave us hanging next year.

Honestly, as miserable as Paul’s pitching handling has been all fricking season, it doesn’t matter when we leave innings with bases loaded and first and second with no outs with zero runs.
