Opinions on using Evans today to take the series

If we get up by 2 or more runs and Eyanson has a vintage performance deep into the game. Do we use Evans today to get this win? I think we should especially considering Arkys top 2 bp arms are burned for today, but coukd certainly come back on Sunday.

He goes in late in the game if the lead is 3 or less and whoever is in isn’t cruising.

You do what you need to do to win the series today. Unless we're up by 5 or more runs, I'd say you use him. With some of the arms we've seen out of the bullpen, you don't need to get cute and try to save him for tomorrow unless you have a lead like that. Even then, I'd keep him in standby just in case.

If the score is a 1-2 run lead,….let’s do it. 17 league wins would come really close to a guaranteed top 8 seed.

What's risky about it? You are playing with house money tomorrow if you can get this win today. Winning this series would be massive. You grab a win whenever and with whoever you can, even if it means Evans doesn't start tomorrow.

Seems obvious. If you use him and still lose you're fricked. But yea we should definitely go all in for the win today if the opportunity is there.
