I won’t insult your intelligence by pretending you actually believe this. If you are not trolling, your ignorance has disqualified you from this discussion.

Hell fricking no. LSU has had other athletes that are way better than mondo at alot of different things. Mondo is the best like vaulter to ever go through LSU for sure.

The dude has been so good for so long.,,,
I think people lose sight that we’re talking about a world record .
Do you people understand what that means?

Leonard Fournette had like a 27” vertical jump
I can name 10 better all around athletes that were just football players in the last 20 years lol

Yeah Mondo can run and jump faster and farther than Fournette, but because he can't truck him, Fournette is the better athlete

He ran that race for fun and won.

Holy shite. This might legit be the dumbest thing I have ever read on this board.
Just like that, Fournette would be breaking WORLD records!

AUSTIN, Texas – LSU sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson set two U20 world records on Saturday at the NCAA Championships with personal bests of 10.75 in the 100 meters and 22.17 in the 200 meters.
She is the first woman in world history, of any age, to run sub 10.8 in the 100 and sub 22.2 in the 200 meters.
You might put her in the conversation.

Sorry man. You’re just wrong about that. Mondo is definitely not a better athlete.

Talking about mondo being best pole vaulter in LSU history? He is the best in the world, ever. Ask people that really understand track and field. They will tell you how hard it is what he is doing. He is a prodegy. Props to him.

He unquestionably has the hottesr mom of any LSU athlete. Sorry, Kramer.

Yes, however, you will likely have some people chime in on old players despite them playing in a significantly easier game (Cannon, Casanova, Maravich, etc).
Easier game? How about tougher game when guys weren’t pussies like you. CaptainPussy yeah that’s it.

The rules now make for a much easier game.

Exactly. The players' health wasn't as protected back then so players got hurt way easier and played through all of that so it was a much tougher game. The safety equipment is light years better now as well.

let’s not forget Ben McDonald out of Denham Springs..one of greatest LSU pitchers...#1 pick in MLB draft...was also all State in basketball and played for Dale Brown at LSU..and was an all-district punter and kicker in high school.
If someone already mention Ben..then ditto.

Ben McDonald was a multi-sport athlete and selected 1st in his MLB draft.
Jared Mitchell was also a multi-sport athlete, who excelled highly as an “athlete”.
I’m just saying names that people can have some nostalgia and some people can look up some former Tigers.
Mondo is great and I root for him but there are a bevy of names ahead of him at this point. Although he has broken the world record twice, he can still accomplish more so jury is still out.
