Orgeron definitely wasn’t afraid of change.

But Ed should never hired Canada. He let Derek ponamsky vet him.

Ed got rid of Matt Canada at after one mediocre year on offense because he knew we were never going to be elite on that side of the ball with him as the play caller.

Two entirely different situations.

Total Offense:
2017 (Canada): #76 27.2 pts per game
2024 (Sloan): #47 30.5 pts per game

In 2018, LSU was going to have a new QB, anyway, so doesn't impact consistency with the change.

In 2025, LSU was coming back with a 5th year QB that had been working with Sloan since 2022.

Also, Brian Kelly isn't afraid to fire anyone. He got rid of Matt House after his first bad season. Claiming House was bad in 2022 is revisionist history based on how bad he was in 2023.

If O and Canada got along on a personal level I don’t think he fires him after one season. They did not like each other and constantly butted heads

The guy Kelly pushed out in favor of Sloan.

Pushed him out by offering him a significant raise that he parlayed into an even better payday from Notre Dame?

Some of you guys are truly fascinating.

Sloan and Davis will be dismissed at the end of the year, I honestly hope they retain the rest of the offensive staff.

A year late to take advantage of the great opportunity and talent we have this year.

We said the same thing with the defense a couple years ago w JD5. Now we have a competent D and an abysmal O.

Kelly just can't get it to line up right.

This is all being based off a T-Bob comment on a podcast Saturday night, where T-Bob said Kelly forced Denbrock out.

I don't remember anyone even hinting he was forced out at the time Denbrock left to return to Notre Dame.

That’s not ENTIRELY the truth regarding Canada leaving.

He and O clashed, majorly. Wasn’t just about on field production

Then I’m wrong. So what?

We’re arguing in the middle of the workday on a website called tiger poop. Nothing matters.

Who on staff has OL coaching or playcalling experience?

I agree they both deserve to go (now) but how does that help? Who’s plan B in either spot?

What plays can you call when 5 lineman and a RB can't contain 3 rushers?

The only option you have when your OL is this terrible is to have a mobile QB and that's not Nussmier.

I think your right, he's always promoted from within, he's never brought in a hotshot, he wants control on his side of the ball
