9. He didn’t have the team prepared for ole miss. They looked horrible first half. Besides that A+

I was ready for him to be a 10 at this point. However, his coaching display in the OM game dropped him to a 5. After the A&M game, especially when I saw him display his only clever play of the season with the fake td pass on 4th down, he has move up to a 7.5.
I really expected more imagination in the offense, but so far he has been a vanilla as BK...and that isn't a good thing to be compared to in my eyes.
So I am hoping that he continues to open up the offense and shows more different ways to run the ball.....outside the tackles on occasion would be a nice change, and get his receivers open quicker for SL/Clark.
So I do have hope after the A&M game that we might be pretty competitive going forward if we can stop with the injuries to key people.
So as of today LK is a 7.5 and hopefully rising.

I’m at an 8. I was surprised at how poorly Levitt played early.
If he continues to improve and looks like he did in the second half of A&M he could go to a 9 or 10.
If we make the playoffs I will be at a 10. It will be extremely difficult with the amount of injuries piling up and the lack of depth we have right now.

10. I feel like we have good coaching finally. Seems like if something is wrong, they will actually fix it instead of the ole "we gotta do better as coaches to put the players in position to be successful" talk.

Where would you rank SEC coaches from top to bottoms through the fist 4 weeks? Would you put John Sumrall above Lane Kiffin?

We have a coach that's hungry, not afraid to recruit even at grey areas (the villain), and more importantly not going to be complacent. I don't think he's hurting for money either. He just wants to win a title real bad.
Results could be different...but the effort will be there. That's all one could ask for in a coach. I'll give it a 9!

The first half of ole Miss was a stinker but the team rallied and made it a game in the 2nd. The other 3 games were blowouts. Solid 9 so far.

The job he did with LSU recruiting and portal recruits was amazing. Can you imagine what this season would be without that effort?
He has established a great defensive culture and the offense is better than I expected.
Lane had many new parts to integrate into the program and to function cohesively as a team. At this point Lane is ahead of my expectations which were 8-4 or 9-3.

9? its hard to be down on him.
he worked his arse off recruiting doing things that would have never crossed many coaches minds and the team is better for it.
the ole miss game was weird in many ways. it hurt to lose (especially in that manner) but whatever. the next month will reveal ALOT. if we can win the games we "should" - kentucky, auburn, miss state - that will mean alot.
