Ole Miss has played 2 ranked team while LSU has played 5

Ole Miss' ranked teams were Oklahoma (W)
Other being #9 Georgia which they lost.
We have played 5 top 10 teams, 4 of them on the road. Ole Miss, Alabama, Vandy! and Oklahoma on the road and TAMU at home. We have lost all 5 but Ole Miss, Vandy and Alabama were all single digit losses. TAMU is a big loss but TAMU 2025 is like LSU 2019. That team will win the Natty....Actually I.am assuming Oklahoma will be a loss.
We have won against all currently unranked teams. If we played 2 top 10 teams, 1 at home and 1 on the road, our record could be at worst be 10-2.
So has Ole Miss really achieved something that spectacular.
My point is their coach has a winning % of 75 while our former coach had a % of 71.
That is a 3 game difference over a 3.5 year stretch.
Considering the media circus, the social media driver mercurial personality, and him leaving his playoff bound team even before the ink dries on the regular season, the unusually over publicized coaching search, is 13-15 million worth it. His hardball agent is going to demand a long contract and God forbid it does not work out we will once again stuck with a even larger buyout.
Is it worth it?
For those who do not remember please google up Janzen Jackson's recruitment to Tennessee and also the departure of a certain coach in the middle of off-season there.

The main argument you will get is that Lane Kiffin had won at that rate at a perpetual doormat program, as opposed to Kelly's similar winning percentage at a college football power in LSU.

Your comparison of A&M this year to 2019 LSU makes this entire rambling mess of a post void.

Oh! Ole Miss was very lucky to avoid having to play TAMU, Texas or Alabama this year. They also were very lucky to avoid Vandy especially on the road.

When Kelly took over we had finished 7th in the SEC west, and lost to Kansas State by 3 touch downs and the game was not even that close.

Post Kelly's record vs top 25 opponents at LSU..
Do it.
Do it.

Lost all credibility with this.
They haven't played an SEC team with a winning conference record yet.
Bad comparison!

Look at ATMs schedule and results in 2025 and LSUs schedule and results in 2019 and get back to us.

They had a hard time with KY, Ark, Wash St. and us. They did not play either UTs, A&M, Mizzou, Vandy,or bama. If they had, they would be staring at 2 or 3 losses

One ranked team we played was ole miss and one unranked team they played is us….

He already has us down for a loss against Oklahoma

Ole Miss played the #4 ranked team and won.

Comparing 'what's their name' to our 2019 National Champions is blasphemous!

It’s not Ole Miss’s fault that LSU shite the bed and are unranked.

LSU did end up with a brutal schedule draw this year that didn't help things. Still have to play @ #8 OU

In Kiffin’s 6 years at ole miss, he’s averaged 8.5 wins a season. He’s 54-19. He went from 5,7,8,11,10, and10 wins in those years. At ole miss! Let that sink in. He’s a good coach and should be LSU’s 1st choice.
