Yikes. The wind chill factor for 44 degrees, 25mph winds, is 29 degrees.
It’s the wind that will be brutal. I’m a cold weather wimp. You could spot me in the dug out if I were playing, I would be the one in full camo duck hunting gear with a space heater.
Watch out for the kid on either team who shows up in short sleeves, he will be the tough out.

There always seems to be one last push from winter in early April every year. It’s gonna be cool in south Louisiana this Sunday-Tuesday. Should be seeing some warmer baseball series after this weekend. Weather looks perfect down here for the whole week.

That wind direction (NNE) is directly in from CF. Don’t think we can count on anything leaving the yard today.

I was in the Army in Oklahoma during February/April and the wind never stopped blowing while I was there. Never so happy to leave that place. There is nothing to stop the wind as it is so flat and open.

There has been rain threads all weekend and it has barely rained. Do some of y’all actually look at a forecast or radar? Or just hear it might rain and immediately assume the worse.

I was in Sioux Falls, SD on a pretty spring day. Asked a couple of locals what the winters were like, and they simultaneously responded, “Brutal!” One added, “And that wind never stops.”

Texas Tech announced yesterday they would play on Friday night, then have a double-header on Sunday.
The weather is supposed to be so brutal in Lubbock today that they didn’t even try to fit in a game. A rain/snow mix with 30+ mph wind and wind chills dipping into the teens.

Gonna be cold and windy but the precipitation doesn’t look to be a huge threat until later in the evening. They’ll play, it’s just going to be miserable.
