Yes, rotation is 7 players when Van Lith returns. First 2 off bench are Poa and Rosario. The last 3 are Bartlett, Kent and Velez. These last 3 usually only come in the final 3-4 minutes during blowout wins. Smith will definitely be missed.

This team is a mess right now. Lots of talent coming in, trying figuring out who/what they are and obviously sounds egos from last year getting in the way - including parents. We won’t know how good this team is for another few months.
Let’s remember we probably weren’t winning a natty last year, except for the gift that Caitlin Clark gave us by beating Dawn and SC in the tourney. We weren’t some unbeatable force. We were small in the post and with Smith out, we’re even smaller this year. I’d temper expectations.

It really isn't. Don't fall into the trap that the clickbaiters on the internet desperately try to portray.
Reese was disciplined. That is in the rear view mirror. Poole did something that she shouldn't have, and now she is gone. The injuries suck, but this team isn't "a mess". After the first half today they looked fine. It's all going to be ok.

Unfortunately questions like this this lead to speculation and unfounded rumors. If you are a parent it is occasionally difficult to get to what started an argument between children. I assume that all coaches have issues that are hard to sort out and questions like yours that are not answerable by them. You could ask the parties involved and get separate stories from each who fully believe their position. I trust Coach Mulkey and her experience to navigate through this in as professional manner as possible. Frankly, I think she already has. I could not be more proud of what she is accomplishing.

Losing Smith is huge. Poole being dismissed isn't that big of a deal. Poa is frustrating to watch because she just doesn't appear to have the talent no matter how hard she plays. She passes on too many uncontested shots which is killing the effort of swinging the ball in rotation.
