its going to be interesting to see what an offense with a pulse will do against the UF D this week

of course UF should score at will on one of the worst Ds in the country

Why throw a jumpball when the receivers are open?

Well yea, but when we get to the red zone where we're AWFUL, why not do it? I'm not just talking about UF either. Same thing with UGA and their tiny corners.

If all this is so obvious, why wouldn't the coaches see it?

the biggest problem is not the o line its JJ holding the ball to long. The O line play hasn't been great but JJ is just not seeing the field well at all

So true

Hopefully.

The entire offensive philosophy needs to be scrapped, whatever it was.

JJ has to learn to step up in the pocket.

But for the kind of $$$$ we payin our coaches they better be producing.

I dont want to say it but I heard a story about Saban; on the bus ride home from winning the national championship he made his assistants come in the next day early to start work for the upcoming season.

We need a cyborg like dedication to excellence like that. Like the terminator

I think the coaches watched the team bail on their QB. That pissed Miles off because he is a loyal guy. He is also a stubborn guy. Until the leaders of this team go to him and commit to playing hard for JLee, then we will see JJ and the 110th ranked offense, win or lose.

You make some great points..and I agree with you on all of them. The things that scares me though is your last statement. If your brother and his other teammates start feeling this way and start going against the coaches the rest of this season could be a very very long one.

Last year there were problems on defense and offense. This year there are fewer problems, so obviously easier to fix. The one positive to having JJ in there is if he gets in trouble and can't make a throw he has a better chacne than JL to bail out with his legs and turn it into something. But with that being said JL brings more confidence and better mechanics to the table.

do something new, I could swear every play we ran saturday night, we've seen before,

watched the game with some buddies that aren't LSU fans and they were amazed that i could practically call what seemed like 90 percent of the plays before the snap.

and JJ had rueben open down the sideline for a BIG play on one of those terrible sacks i think early in the fourth quarter.

one thing that just stings about the game is how crowton and miles cant get shep one fricking touch. dont play him against washington in the first game of the season if you must, but damn, against florida? nothing? really? some of those plays we ran against uga (zone read with trindon) could have worked. you know we're going to struggle moving the ball against florida at times.

5 wides on fourth and 1 i dont think miles called that play, i'll say that

Yeah and I don't blame you for having that opinion. shite I don't blame your brother for having that opinion either.

I just hope that he and his teammates don't give up on the coaches because that could make things really bad for the rest of the year. I hope he's not feeling like he made a mistake in coming here. I'm pretty sure he will be very successful here. Things will get headed in the right direction one way or another.

i think the coaches simply dont trust Jefferson

therefore he doesn't trust himself

they are conservative on offense because of it, and try to rely on our DEF. While our DEF is pretty good, its not a DEF that can win a game against FL, or ALA, or even Ole Miss.

The coaches are not "playing to win". It's that simple. Therefore the players can't even say they are leaving it on the field(on offense). They won't let them do what they are best it.

it's horrible to watch

he actually showed some emotion after the game which i loved seeing.

my family tailgated with #7, #9, davenport, faulk, montgomery families and these guys did not like losing. they were pissed after the game

if anything they will put in more work to show the coaches they can get it done and let them loose.
