Yep, i should have stuck to my no more predictions after the UGA game.

I didnt and came here and predicted a victory saturday night

what i saw leading up to the game gave me no reason to think lsu could not win this game and after watching the game from tiger stadium, im still asking myself how did lsu lose this game?

we got to the stadium early to see the walk and the players looked so focused.

we went inside and watched them warm up.

my brother took my younger sister down to the fence and they got Rueben's attention and he had this look in his eyes like he was ready to kill. i looked at all the players down on the field and they had the same look.

the gators begin to jump on the tiger eye, the lsu players rush over to defend their home turf, you never want any trouble to break out during one of these so thankfully it did not, but it was a thing of beauty to see the tiger players go over and make them move.

the first person i looked for of course was #2 and I could not believe my eyes as i saw him push his way to the front of the melee. I thought someone had stolen his jersey. he never shows any emotion.

then i see him chest bumping his teammates and i was like oh yeah its on.

i sat with Michael Ford's family and some tiger rant posters who i will let name themselves if they choose and we could not believe what we were seeing.

I dont think the better team won, IMO.

Dickson was open all night, the WR's were running by the db's of UF all night.

why run an option on a team with the speed of UF?
why not run straight at them?

why send an extra blitzer to the outside of tebow instead of straight at him. he can not beat you running sideways.

i left shaking my head.

Someone please explain to me how this is is not on the coaches and the game plan.

It's quite obvious that no one trusts JJ. They're correct, IMO.

Then you either need to give Lee a chance or bring in RS and go pure spread option. What they were doing on Sat. isn't the answer.

Somebody has to get them the ball. I don't think JJ can.

I thought the coaches would get it after Georgia. Apparently not. So maybe now they will, but I'm not holding my breath.

i know thats not the same thing but this is lsu, why play somoeone who you do not think can win for you?

I really am stumped and would like to know what you guys think was the problem.

"Someone please explain to me how this is is not on the coaches and the game plan."

I watched a replay last night - and I have to totally agree. We should have won that game and what I found interesting when watching it - Florida shouldn't even have had 13 points if not for some bad calls (offsides) and penalties at the wrong time. The D played lights out! Offensively - guys were open - we just couldn't get them the ball - a few balls thrown too high - this is a different game...but it still comes down to play calling and strategy. We played to their strengths against our strengths. I am just dumbfounded by the game plan.

Les Miles biggest blunder of 2008 - throwing JL to the wolves early and asking him to do things he couldn't do.

Les Miles biggest blunder of 2009- not utilizing RS more and letting JJ watch from the sidelines.

Here's my biggest question:

Why do we not play Shepard and why the hell is your brother not our #3? We run Chris Mitchell and RJ Jackson out there and there's no reason for it. Mitchell dropped 2 passes, and finally with 3 minutes left in the game they decide to put Rueben in.

Can you shed light on why he doesn't play more? It has to be the most obvious thing that he should be our third receiver. It just frustrates me like carzy.

Also, what people don't talk about is how hard it is to play QB when the other team knows exactly what's coming. We have the most predictable offense and it's disgusting. Our 5-wide is terrible, and the pistol formation should be thrown out, the option is just wow..., and Stampley should be our FB and Dugas should never play

There is no real offensive game plan. It just seems Crowten and Miles are at odds with one another. The fans will never know what goes on in the headphones, but it seems we just "try a little of this and a little of that" and it fools no one. The silver lining, Dmitch, is that we COULD have one. We have the players, the players have the heart, the coaches need to get it together. I'm not knocking Jefferson, but I think things need to be simplified for him. Can a series with Lee at this point really hurt? Miles says that may disrupt Jefferson's rhythm, but the fact is he has no rhythm. I'm not sure how the players feel about that, but as bad as the offense looked we're real close to being very good.
