Why not poke the LSU bear and get people talking about him.

He's also an Aggie so double whammy.

And the orioles are on the hook for 14 mil slot value just their first 4 picks. They took a couple of DES as well so they probably won’t get huge discounts. They’ll also have to pay Zach Showalter who is HS they took in the 11th round so that will eat into their bonus pool. They can make Young a good offer, but it won’t be close to a million

Heading into the 17th round now I can safely say LSU will have the #1 recruiting class for 2022 and it's not even close.

The only class that really compared to ours was Vandy according to Perfect Game, but they have lost more than we have in this draft so far.

Yep I’ve heard one of the big reasons he reclassified was to go in the draft this year. Hopefully he sees that he could be a first round pick in 3 years and comes to school

A couple late-round high-profile preps taken here in Round 17. C Brady Neal to the Brewers and LHP Levi Huesman to the Rays. Both figure to be incredibly tough to sign. Could be insurance picks for early-round picks. Both are Top 150 talents at @ProspectsLive.

I assume When he reclassified as a big time prospect he didn’t think he’s be a 17th rounder.

If he has leverage next year he could greatly increase his value.

Round 17 was certainly not uneventful

Don’t think I’m TOO concerned. The brewers didn’t have a ton of pool money and will have to make good offers to at least 3 of their top 4 picks. They did draft several 4yr seniors 5-10 though

Same, but I'd feel a lot better if Neal sent out a "thanks but no thanks, geaux tigers" tweet.

Doesn't have leverage unless he goes JUCO.

I'm not concerned at all with Neal. He'll go JUCO before agreeing to a deal in the 17th.
