What's the slot for a 17th round pick? Can't be very much and also can't see them going way over slot for a college junior

He should probably lean towards coming to school right? Since I’m pretty sure he’s still got 2 more years, meaning he still has leverage after this year

Yeah, I think they're just taking a flyer, but I think we still get him.

He should, yes. His freshman year was the COVID season, and he clearly has the tools to be a high draft pick

I kind of tend to believe this too, considering he still has leverage for next draft and the year he just had was not nearly as good as he was previously. Doesnt seem like a guy who will sign for like $125k. I imagine it would take few hundred thousand minimum to get him to sign.

Carter Young was the 237th ranked prospect, and was drafted 497 overall. Hoping he comes to LSU and believes he is worth more than that slot value.
