Maybe put in "TAG TBD" and see if it takes it.

I tried to buy one of these, but you need the license plate number. Idk what the license plate of my rental will be. Any way around this without calling?

I bought an $8 parking garage spot next door to Barney's Beanery which is good from Noon until 2 AM in Old Town Pasadena.

I used the ParkWhiz app and it asked me for my license plate number. The ParkWhiz folks told me just to make sure I enter the rental car plate number in the app before I enter the parking garage.

There is also a free shuttle to the Rose Bowl from the nearby Parsons parking lot.

As much as I dislike masking up, I'm going to pack some K95s and use them all around town. Louisiana is such a hot spot and who knows what's going on in LA, it's one way I can keep myself safe and, even more importantly, not bring anything back to where I live where the amount of cases are low.

That's the message I received as well, but you should still be able to post them.

Tell me more about this shuttle from Parsons to the Rose Bowl? Is there a website? Pregaming in Old Town and catching a shuttle sounds like a solid plan.

I have seen a few people mention sitting in the shade. Will the sun be a problem for a 5:30 game? If so, what time is it no longer a problem for Section 3?

Is anyone planning on doing the train from downtown LA (by LA Live) to Old Town Pasadena? Google MAps says it takes an hour+

Byrno provided one link above and here is a little more info mentioning the shuttle bus from Parsons to the Rose Bowl. The reviews I read on it are get there early and the wait/ride there is not that bad. The wait postgame, depending on how the game goes, could be much longer. A lot of people just walk back the ~1.7 miles to Old Town Pasadena.

I asked a UCLA fan friend of mine about this after another friend bought two tix for us in Section 2. UCLA fan friend said it it will be pretty damn hot. He noted that Oklahoma Sooners fans sitting on the sunny side for a mid-September game in 2019 complained to him it was the hottest game they had ever attended. But I do not know if that was a 5:30 pm start game.

Bring a hat and dress appropriately for a hot first half.

The current 10 day forecast for Pasadena goes out to September 2nd. On 9/2/21, the high temp is forecast to be 90 degrees F, no rain, and about a 10 mph breeze. At 5:30 pm or kickoff time it should still be close to that same 90 degrees. Should be ok, bring a hat and things will be better by halftime (hopefully temperature wise and score wise!).

You can use this tool to imagine what your seat view would look like, this is one part of Section 3 queued up at the link.

The visitor side is on the East, so the UCLA side gets shade in the late afternoon.

Thanks for the info. That link showed my seats! You can also use google maps and drop the yellow man in the rose bowl and walk around the stadium. Wish someone had a shadow map, like in my topography class at LSU.

The sun will be in your eyes through at least mid 2nd quarter (sunset is 7:14pm in Pasadena on September 4). Sit on the UCLA side if you can. A buddy and I went to the Syracluse-Liberty game a couple years back. 6pm kickoff, and we sat on the sun side. The sun was directly in our eyes, and we were sweating like a dog the entire 1st quarter.

It's irrelevant. No one enforces it. Especially at a massive outdoor stadium.
