Coming from the tool starting a thread on the MSB about how much more popular the Open is than LSU in the CWS.

Yesterday was the first really hot day of the Series. I don't think anybody was prepared for a heat index of 103 when they've been playing in a relatively comfortable 78-85 degrees for the last 10 days.

Where to begin??? Austin Wood and his poor sportmanship after Mahtook's groundout. The curtain calls. Changing the pitcher's belt, so the reliever had time to warm up. But, with all that, those wronghorns still couldn't win.

What about the "broken belt trick"?

Took that pitches 5 minutes to put on a freaking belt then the trainer gives the reporter a belt that was obviously cut in half by the trainer not broke. It made it even more obvious it was a ploy.

I watched this team play live this year and I dont ever recall a tiger performing a curtain call, a tiger pitcher telling a batter he struck out to "sit down, bitch!", or a tiger skipping down the third base line.

Why? what's the big deal, it happens in MLB all the time.
it was a solo shot. it wasn't a monster shot and wasn't even a dramatic hit to give them the lead. it's not a texas home game so it didn't happen in his own park. maybe he's got some incredible personal struggle he's overcome and we don't know about it. anyway, when he stepped out of the dugout i was wondering why in the world he would do that.

it happens in mlb WHEN the home crowd cheers REALLY loud and then the player comes out. this situation is just a tad bit different.

for pointing out obvious douchebaggery? you have an interesting perspective

i didn't think the skipping was that bad but, that is the kind of stuff that starts brawls and batters getting hit in the head. he should have known better. the "broken belt" is one of the most bush league, amateur, childish, lame stunts i've ever seen pulled in a game.

Wood told Mikie to "Go back home Bitch!" or something like that.

Is there a YouTube video of that, because I missed it. I'm not saying it didn't happen just that I didn't see it but would like to. Not that I need any more reason to hate every FRICKING THING ABOUT THE STATE OF TEXA-MEXICO!

I think the entire team running out of the dugout when someone scores is bush league and douchebaggary but it seems to be common place

I agree, I think meeting someone outside the dugout is fine but the meetings at the plate gets a little old.

You're not serious, are you? This isn't MLB. It's college, and you don't give curtain calls.

Anyone have any idea why Hanover was swinging at terrible pitches? He should have been begging for a walk. I wonder what he was told. He did not help our cause. The bases were loaded. They showed the teammates in the dugout and they were cringing.

Count went 3-2 and he guessed wrong. What if he would've guessed slider and took a meat fastball?
