So after deciding to commit and play for LSU, he now commits to UF. Hmmm. He will decide to commit to something else guaranteed. Doesn’t know what commitment means.

LSU has to turn failed tests into the NCAA but its up to LSU first and foremost to uphold the transfer rule and suspension if he leaves. Being in good standing in regards to disciplinary action was a requirement to get the free transfer. Regardless of what UFs policy is, LSU absolutely can force Arik to sit not only this year for transferring to another SEC school (SEC inter conference rule still in place) but also sit the suspension. Its just a matter of if LSU enforces them and possibly UF appealing it to the SEC/NCAA.

On top of that, it is my understanding that he is academically ineligible at this time which was also a requirement of the NCAA to get the pass. He certainly has time to clear that hurdle but has a lot working against him at this point to play next year.

"After careful consideration" is dumb because the decision to stay at LSU and sit 4 cupcake games vs potentially losing a season plus by transferring to another SEC school given his academic and disciplinary position seems not well thought out.

Hopefully O doesn't give him the easy way out to a rival
