Moscona said something similar. I only caught the very tail end of it, but basically he made some calls and said Turang is going to sign. I have no idea who the calls were to. Missed that part.

He was saying the rule of thumb is more than $2M and they sign. It wasn’t Turang’s number.

JT isn’t signing because an injury has caused the major league club to cut their offer in half. It’s not the same at all to the Turang situation. He is a pitcher that already has a wrist injury.

The reason I’m still a little skeptical is because at this point Turang knows what the brewers can offer. Either it’s enough or it’s not. Unless he is thinking maybe the brewers will go over the 5% allowance.
