All things considered this is really high on my list. We had struggled to score on those guys for so long and this made it look so easy.

Was another beautiful day of offensive dominance.

Was an insane hit. But MSU earlier that year was his best game as a Tiger. From the PR with the PP7 windmill to the goal line stand, he was complete money that game.

My first away game as a student and my only as a freshman. He single handed my won the game on the goal line. I remember they tried almost a Tebowesque jump pass over the middle that he swayed back. Dreadlocks of doom!

Les Miles looked like a genius that night but when you examine it closely that was one of his many clock snafus.

I always think about the first game with Miles as coach, it was against Arizona state and got moved to Tempe because of Katrina. Our first drive stalled inside our own 40 and Miles went for it on 4th down.

I was like who the hell is this crazy coach

Was epic

Didn’t think we had a chance at all when Met went down and they pinned Anthony Jennings on the 1 yard line

But yes, I remember Flynn to Byrd as well. I thought we were playing for the winning FG but it was just Miles' poor clock management that allowed the clock run down to that final play.

Yeah, Les played it off like that's the way it was planned all along, but I watched the game over the next day and he was jumping up and down and celebrating the play then the camera caught him looking up at the clock and the smile left and his jaw dropped when he saw 1 second on the clock. that look gave him away, he had no idea we'd cut it that close.

it was crazier than that. He called a fake punt from our own endzone on his first drive.

Had to know we had some crazy guy as a coach

Yeah. There was something in the next game against Tennessee that went unnoticed. That was the game that was moved to Monday night because of the hurricane. We blew a big lead and lost in overtime. Near the end of regulation we intercepted the ball. Miles frantically ran on the field calling time out not realizing that the clock stopped on the change of possession.

We honestly should've beaten them by 14-17 pts and that pisses the gumps off royally

Not sure about the punt but that game they called 2 penalties against us on a 3rd down and they applied both of them it wound up costing us around 30 yards so it was like 4th and 40 or something crazy like that.

There was three seconds remaining but the tennesee homer commentor wanting to put Coach Miles in bad light said there was only one second left and the nega tigers chose to believe him not the lying clock !

And it was a tough catch at that
Miles might not have survived that game had they lost
T bob should not have snapped ball on tenn game
