This is shaping up to be a pretty decent draft for WR, so I can definitely see 2-3 being realistic. Jarvis definitely has the size/speed/hands to make plays consistently on Sundays

That's a pretty good, and large, crop of recievers. Maybe OBJ waits because of that?

Selfishly I want him to stay. But if you can go first 2 rounds you geaux. Too much $ to risk to injury; guaranteed money with bonus. If 3rd round, have to seriously consider it. Huge drop off after 3rd round. After that, he may actually gain money by staying.

Nah, he looks like a 4.38 guy to me. And 5-11 guys with slender builds need to be sub-4.3 to get in the first round. Being a slender but versatile college deep threat only garnered 6-0/193/4.38 Kenny Stills a 5th round selection.

Sub 4.3? You realize there's only maybe one guy a year that runs a sub 4.3 at the combine?

As long he runs 4.44 or faster, he's fine and a top 25 pick.

He's too electric with the ball in his hands; can run the route tree; has huge hands; tremendous leaping ability; incredible quickness and a football I.Q. off the charts.

Beckom and Landry are the best college receiving corp of all time. I think if Beckom could be insured with a large policy in case he were to get hurt he would return. But can lsu buy the policy?

Like I said in another post, his draft stock is at it's highest. I wouldn't take a gamble with a new QB.

Agree. That and injury. His stock is high as a receiver, but also as a returner. Similar in ways to desean Jackson for the eagles. Beckham can legitimately go late in the first round.

That will change after private workouts and combine. Sammy Watkins and one or two others may be bigger and a little more athletic than Landry, but no one is more complete, has better, nor runs better routes, or is more clutch than Landry. No later than mid second for both.

I think it partially depends on his current $ situation if he stays or goes. Tho not having Mett throwing him the ball might hurt his stock.

I like OBJ, but I doubt he goes in the first round. He doesn't have elite speed, height, or toughness. I say second round.

I would think Beckham and Landry would be highly desirable by NFL scouts right now. I think the most impressive thing is how they snatch everything out of the air with their hands. It always seems that you see many guys catch things off their body.

I hope they make the best decision for their career. They are definitely the type of player I would like to cheer for on the Saints.
