if there's anything O does, it's blow away these kinds of expectations.

Not with the recruiting classes that have come in.. we have two more high impact QBs coming.. anyway to each his own.

I don’t remember Chizik losing over 30 players off his NC team...

Are you just forgetting the fiesta bowl when the year before against the undefeated team?

I doubt it. Chizik never recruited at this level. Orgeron has this team stacked, and we will all see this next season when we return an experienced team. After that, there will be no down years like this one, which is the result of an unprecedented talent exodus and a god-awful 2018 recruiting class - Ed’s first.

That’s a very interesting and quite original take. Can’t believe no one has made that comparison before.

The biggest question has already been answered, and that’s if the offense can maintain their success without Burrow and Brady. The defense sucks right now, but the defense won’t be down forever.

This program isn’t Auburn, they’ll be alright.

Who cares? 2019 was one of the greatest seasons of all time. I can live off of it for the next decade.

Not really. Chizik finished ranked once in 4 years at Auburn. O has finished ranked all 4 years (interim season included) with #18 being the lowest that he has finished while winning the Fiesta Bowl and National Championship in consecutive years. This is a down year for sure, but so far through his time here, this year would be the outlier.
