The FACT is, LSU Football finished #6 in the nation in 2018. That was an excellent season. LSU under EdO has had TWO very good seasons and 1 average season.

Well, if this turns out to be the case, at least you can have 15-0 2019 forever. The era of the 10 plus years coach is long gone. Sure the Sabans of the world are the exception, but by far and away, the 5-7 year mark is par for the course this day and age with transfer portal and the new 24/7 recruiting world that is the current landscape of college football. Just my opinion.

The QB play this year has been great and we have some elite QBs either behind Myles or coming in the next few recruiting cycles

His offense looks good with any QB so far. As a fan I believe it is 95% about recruiting and I wanted him when most people wanted Herman or Fisher. If he ends up with top 3 (or at least top 5) recruiting classes every year there is nothing to worry about. Recruiting is what you want to watch closely.

I would Only get really worried of the recruiting class fell apart.

Realistically this team was gutted talent wise. I expected more from Pelini but not much.

This post made me chuckle...

Gene Chizik coached four seasons at Auburn. He finished with a 33-19 record. But if you take away the Cam Newton year, his record drops to 19-19 with a 7-17 SEC game record. He was an awful coach that lucked out and got the only player I've ever seen be so much better than everyone else that they damn near single handedly win a national title. Thats not what coach O's title run was at all like...Joe burrow had three NFL recievers to throw to, an nfl back to block for him and get only about 1300 yards for himself on the ground. The defense joe burrow had helping him had multiple nfl draft picks littered at every level, as well as the best cornerback to ever play baiting guys like jake fromm into picks....It's more than dumb to try and compare the coaching of one to the other...Ed O is 42-11 and just fielded the best team maybe ever just last year...And by the fifth game the following year hes now apparently Gene Chizik....

See how stupid that sounds? That would be why i chuckled for the record...Because its just plain incorrect and mis informed. Coach O won a title because he made all the right moves at all the right times last year and it payed off. Did it all the right way and got rewarded for his efforts. Gene chizik had a booster pay cams father the asking price and then watched like we all did that year as cam beat every team he faced and was so good that his addition alone got them a title...

Coach O had to make so many other moves on every possible part of the program to get where he got the team. And the end result was the best team to ever play college football. A team that beat the preseason top 4 and 7 top ten opponents. It was the greatest coaching job in the history of the conference let alone the program....And now after having the very much expected slow start to this shite show of a season, hes now Gene Chizik...Its so wildly retarded to think or say that I honestly wonder if you know what football is at this level...What goes into having elite level success for a sustained period of time, over many years...Most coaches never find this level. And yet Coach O has...But now hes Chizik.....

This post is the dumbest bunch of shite ive seen said in a while. Be an Ed O hater all you want...But don't be the guy that makes me have to question whther or not they know what a football is to begin with...Because that you now...Congrats, your the dumbest poster on a board made up of mostly really dumb posters...
