You can't blame Kelly for the o line not getting push and then not give him credit for having a dominating front 7.

Zone blocking vs run blocking my man. Go back & listen Hester & Flynn break it down the Monday after Ole Miss. I promise these guys can push people off the bal but the zone blocking scheme isn’t designed for that.

It really doesn't take much to be an upgrade over mubenga. Curne should be at LF if not at RT. We have so many weak links, they like take turns blowing their assignment.

Watch the game. Line gave up 0 sacks and rushed for 170. It was their best game vs an elite front 7. Yall guys are miserable

2 weeks of prep to only score 20! at home! against south cackalackey.
You scored 20 because of turnovers and Nuss fumbling on the QB sneak. Sloan dialed up well over 30 points in that game. Hes been bad but last night he was actually pretty good. Him and the OL were a pleasant surprise.

Thanks for this monologue Fatso. Here's an old, time weathered saying; "you can't make chicken salad out of chicken shite". No disrespect to Nuss personally but the QB Nuss is part of the chicken shite. QB is where the whole offense starts. Every play called is designed to get yardage. The plays you call are designed by what you see in practice and video reviews. Sloan is hampered by a chicken shite QB and an inexperienced banged up OL. Fricking Bill Walsh would struggle with play calling our offense. Sloan doesn't fumble on the 1 yd line, Sloan doesn't miss blocks by the guards and tackles, Sloan doesn't throw interceptions, Sloan doesn't drop passes, Sloan doesn't panic in the pocket and rolls into sacks, Sloan doesn't refuse to run when there is a wide open field to get a first down and keep a drive going, and finally Sloan doesn't have the authority to replace Nuss with MVB.
Take your little meaningless numbers and charts and shove em. We are 5-1 # 10 in the nation because of BK spending very wisely on getting a great defense and Sloan doing the best he can with the shitety hand he's been dealt. My opinions are based on playing high school and college football. This doesn't make me a Vince Lombardi but gives me a little edge when watching college football.

How is this even physically possible? Either our technique is terrible, or the S&C coach should be canned.
It's technique. Low man wins. LSU lineman are always the high man.

I’m far from an expert, but this OP shows a lack of understanding of LSU’s offense. They are not getting pushed back because of strength issues or technique. It is due to the scheme. LSU’s scheme is based around the passing game, and the running game is meant to exploit the pass rush creating gaps and lanes. So the defenders in the backfield on running plays is not due to failures, it is by design. The offensive linemen are supposed to influence pass rushers, who are using techniques like twist and stunts, to create lanes. When it works properly the RB will shoot through a lane that might start two yards in the backfield. It’s designed to produce big plays in the running game, as it did for the first time this season against USCe.
IMO, LSU’s problem is that teams are not having to commit extra players to the pass rush. This leaves them with LBers waiting to clean up these lanes. Our linemen are getting better, but we still have a RT who gets beat so badly that plays get blown up before the RB can find a lane. Also, we only have one RB who has the vision for it - maybe two if you count JuJuan Johnson.
The problems in the running game will go away as the passing game gets better and the pass blocking gets better. Once the passing game starts clicking the running game won’t be far behind, I think. But the RT has GOT to get better.

Since Kelly arrived, we can't make a yard if the game depended on it, but its Nuss' fault.
Interesting to see how many rushing yards his teams has accumulated, if we subtract Daniels' rushing yards.
Subtracting Daniels's rushing attempts;
2023: 295 carries, 1525 yards; 5.2 ypc
2022: 331 carries, 1687 yards; 5.1 ypc
Other years (subtracting Most QB yards/sacks)
2025: 158 carries, 677 yards, 4.3 ypc
2024: 339 carries, 1551 yards, 4.6 ypc
2021: 351 carries, 1508 yards, 4.3 ypc
2020: 265 carries, 1100 yards, 4.2 ypc
2016: 491 carries, 2571 yards, 5.2 ypc

take out the SELU game anomaly and we only average 19.8 points a game.

We actually lost 2 fricking yards on a QB sneak. Has that happened ever in the game of football?
Happens quite often on a fumble. Oftentimes the outcome is even more disastrous.
Still can't figure out how an isolation throw to Tray'dez Green doesn't get tried at least once with three shots at it. I know we're trying to kill clock and burn their timeouts, but that play either works or draws a PI flag well over half the time. And PI flag seals the game even more than a TD would!

Won. Bitching about style points is the ultimate "woulda coulda shoulda". The job is to win games, and we won. If you're going to dig deeper for shite to bitch about, and then ignore every single positive, then you're just whining to be a whiner.

Only for us to be hamstrung by our downfield passing game. It would be an entirely different set of offensive problems that we would have with Les.

This team under Les Miles would be wrecking everyone.
this team under Les Miles would be struggling to score just like he struggled to score for the better part of his last 5 years on the job. I swear, some of y'all get tired of one coach and then get amnesia for anything else that occurred prior to that coach. It's like everyone has forgotten how agonizing it was watching us play football at the end of his time here and how many struggle wins we had with a good defense against nearly everyone.
Maybe I can jog your memory a little bit

We weren't dominating shite at the end of Miles' time here, which is why he got fired like everyone wanted. Now, apparently, people have created some alternate reality where we beat the shite out of everyone while he was here. I didn't even bring up the 2008-2010 seasons but am happy to if you'd like.

This is a big problem for Davis most of the linemen. Chester does the same thing. That’s poor technique and total lack of discipline. It’s also a mindset and most them don’t have it.
